Took PT 46 yesterday to gauge how my drilling is going and scored a 166.

RC: -5
LR1: -4
LR2: -3
LG: -1

Not bad with 5 months left, but still lots of work to do. My goal is 175+.

Have you seen these tests already? If not, that's a good position to be in considering we're 5 months out.

Have you seen these tests already? If not, that's a good position to be in considering we're 5 months out.

That was my first time taking PT 46. I'm happy with the position I'm in, and I still have a lot of drilling material left.

Checking in! October seems likely (as opposed to June) for me! I have a 164 from a year ago, and I am prepping for a 175+.

I want to hammer the prep hard for the next one month, as I have a 3 week vacation coming in June during which I will only study ~2 hours a day.

Long time lurker, first time poster checking in! I sat for Dec 2014 but was too stubborn to admit defeat on that third game and didn't have enough/any time for the fourth. Seeing as I was consistently scoring -0 or -1 on games, I had to cancel. I'm registered for June but haven't been diligent enough to get my timing down.

I'm thinking about PTing every other day until May 23rd (change date deadline) to see if I can get my groove back, but at the same time I'm worrying about burning through PTs if I do end up pushing this back to Oct. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Just took my first diagnostic. Scored a 155 pretty bummed out. I knew I needed a lot of work, but I was hoping I would atleast be in the 160s.. My goal is a 170..I'm a black URM with a 3.8 gpa. A 170 would be perfectttt!

Get a plan and start working! You will get there if you are meticulous and patient.

Was that a cold diagnostic? On the bright side, you're starting better off than more than half of test-takers, and you have five months to improve from there. What resources are you planning on using?

I'm in for the study group. 168 on Feb 2014 test- lower than my diagnostic. Rough stuff. Studied for several weeks beforehand part-time. Dedicating this summer to full-time studying and aiming for 175+ for practice tests and 172+ for real thing.

Why aim for lower than your practice tests? As long as you do a good job of simulating the test conditions, shouldn't you be able to do just as well?

Yes, you should. In theory, I completely agree. But in reality, I am cranky tonight so therefore pessimistic.

Did my first diagnostic today: June 2007. Kind of bummed because I got a 163

I did well on the LR sections (as I have been drilling and reviewing the MLSAT book), but I need to get my game on with LG and RC.
