No problem. I would enjoy the accountabilty. I also am going to be using the cambridge packets for additional practice. PM me if you would like to discuss more about studying and our schedules. Good luck!
The Trainer is TCR, by the way. I started scoring much higher after reading it for the second time. Also Cambridge packets.

"The credited response." Basically, the right answer. It's TLS lingo.

I will be starting the trainer on Monday! Taking a diagnostic on November 8th. Anyone want to join?

Diagnostic is before you start looking at anything... if you start reading the Trainer and other material before your diag then its not a true diagnostic... not that you shouldnt take one if youve already started, just throwing it out there

I am a re-take, so I have already taken a "true" diagnostic. I'm just trying to get a little refresher on question types/very general material, which is probably what lessons 1-4 are anyways. I want to take advantage of the full 3 months, but I work full time. There is no way I can take a diagnostic during the week :(

I believe we spoke about this in PM but if you want to get a refresher on question types buy the Cambridge packets that are grouped by type. I have those and they are amazing. I believe in the trainer forum he posted something about incorporating them into your study schedule. Also blind review. Keep doing problems you get incorrect until you are getting them 100 percent correct and not having to guess. If anyone would like to talk about study options or schedule feel free to PM me. I would love to hear how others are going to study. Good luck everyone!

That link has all of the games by type. It can be very helpful while drilling. Also use the search function on TLS. There is a lot of knowledge from others in these forums that have taken the LSAT and done well.

Registered for LSAT in December. Studying can go way better. I already feel like I will have to retake in Feb. Are you all applying for this cycle even so late in process? What are the chances of making it when seats and money are highly limited...?

Well, I already sent in out all my applications hoping for a miracle. If I am not happy with the results, I will sit out a cycle and hope the February exam goes well.

I am not applying this cycle. I have a few more classes left to complete my undergrad. I am planning on sitting for the LSAT in February if I am ready. If not I will put it off until I am scoring consistently where I need to be. I was lucky enough to get into a job that pays pretty well before even finishing undergrad so for now I'm just saving money and trying to get my score as high as possible.

I will also be applying next cycle. That way if I don't get near gold in Feb, I can retake it in June and still have all my apps in by October for the early money.

You actually can submit without a score, they just won't look at your file until the score is in, so it really doesn't matter unless you're trying to get in for a deadline...if you submit an app before their official deadline without a score, your app is still in their system until your score comes in- this is not the norm, but it is a thing.

Starting a third round of studying is hard.

Really hard.

I need some motivation to get going for February.

@sfoglia, I've only gone through the Trainer once, but the second time helped you out? I've been debating whether I should tear through that sonna' bitch again. I guess it wouldn't hurt.

What's your motivation for studying for the LSAT?
I don't necessarily want to go to lawschool,
but instead teach the test.

I'm thinking I'll take Dec, but realistically I know I'll have to retake. I was considering only taking Feb, but my biggest issue is anxiety during PTs, so I figure getting the test day experience might be helpful. Plus none of the school I'm applying to average.
I'm not an expert but based off what I've read from high scoring TLS users, practicing in a busy library is a good way to simulate real test day conditions. But if you're set for the December test then go for it and best of luck!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
