I would like it as well. Definitely worth printing out and bringing with me for the piece of mind. I'm going to get and bring a back up analog watch regardless though, in case of a freak malfunction or battery death on my regular one.

I also wrote them an email detailing that there had been conflicting answers and asking for a clear definition of what constituted an illegal timer.

So, I called today and they "guaranteed" me that this watch would be permissible for the June LSAT. They said, give them a call on test day if we encounter any problems w/ the proctors. I asked whether I could receive an email from them, but he said that wasn't necessary as all the LSAC reps received an email from their superiors letting them know that the item is permissible. Best of luck to all and I hope you can breathe easy now.

I used the watch for the the June 2010 test. It was freaking awesome, and there was no problem with it. Nobody even asked about it.

misma situacion. The patrol woman in my test center seemed to really want to "stick to the script" and locate the corrupt individual(s). She eye-balled the watch a few times but nothing came of it. One chap on my right took a few glances at it had him tweaked "oh, where is mine?". I am into sharing so laid it out for neighbors to use. Everything was kosher.

Wow, I really wish I had had one of these for the test. The proctor's timekeeping from the board was one minute off from the clock near me (and I hate having to take the time to do the math of how long I have left anyway).

I remembered this post, so I brought my cell phone along just in case there were problems with any proctors. Then I realized, "what am I gonna do, pull the cell phone out of my pocket, which I'm not supposed to have, and call LSAC?" I don't think there were any phones around

Phew, that was a close one.

Folks, please don't bring your phones to the test. I get reports after every exam from readers whose phones ring/alarms go off, etc. and they end up getting kicked out of the exam.

Bad news.

I'm sure the proctors will bring their cell phones, which you can ask to borrow to call LSAC if you really need to.

I simply reset my watch to 12:00 after every section and started it again when told to start. Not sure why buying a special watch is necessary, but I suppose if it makes you more confident, it's worth it.

I just used this watch on the June test with absolutely no problems. I highly recommend it. While you can obviously just reset a normal watch to noon, I enjoyed the ability to glance very quickly at my watch, and depending on which color-coded quadrant the minute hand was in, that's what logic game/reading passage I should be attempting.

Gotta be honest, when I read about this before, I thought it sounded pretty silly. But now that I've taken the real test, I can see how it would've actually been nice to have. I definitely had some stressful moments due to there being two visible clocks in the front of the room, along with my watch, and the official clock (which wasn't visible), none of which were synced. If I end up retaking in October, I'm sure I'll be ordering one of these.

It really is rather efficient IMHO. I really dislike time to the extent I remove the clock from the front of my cell phone and don't own any watches. I purchased this and I have been satisfied. It can "become" part of the practice test process more so than things you "can't bring with you" on test day. Maybe it is a comfort blanket/security feeling but it helps. Something intended for a specific purpose, serving that purpose. No more thinking about time, you glance at it and due to the lines/colors it becomes less distracting where as the classic clock, countdown vibe is just murder on my mind. Wish I had ordered it earlier, I think it would have helped a great deal when I first began being consumed by the clock (time/stress) element vs. focusing on accuracy. Couldn't see the trees...In fact I still can't.

I used this for my test and I'm a fan. The stopfoot was a big help in quickly resetting the watch, and it was really simple to just glance at my watch and know where I was at. I felt like the watch actually also helped me avoid mental fatigue, in a way. Since I didn't have anything approaching a real clock, it was easier to mentally break down the test into 35-minute sections instead of approaching it like a 4 hour test. It also was nice for prep. Ultimately, the watch itself isn't going to give anyone a better score, but it helped calm nerves a little bit and that could obviously have a beneficial effect.

depends on work/life commitments for production line employee(s). Also if you got base model or any bells and whistles.

It is a quality timepiece but only works (duh) if you remember to reset it. I was so freaked out I did not manage to reset mine once and lost track of time.
