yep just pt thoughdaisrt wrote:I just got off work and am BRing the PT I took last night. I think if you BR the next day it's not a huge deal since the stuff is relatively fresh in your mind. It's impossible for me to BR same day for weekday PTs since I work FT. So I finish my PT around 9:15ish and get home around 9:40. There's just nooo way. Do you work?flash21 wrote:Does anyone PT and have a hard time doing much else LSAT work that day? i'll underline words or circle the part of the AC that I think makes it wrong. makes you stay engaged and keeps the effect I think you're looking for with subvocalizationsomethingelse55 wrote:Not sure if you guys do this anyway, but I think what I'm going to start doing to become that much more consistent is subvocalize why I'm eliminating an AC. I've noticed, especially on RC but also on LR, that I just intuitively eliminate an AC because its "out of scope" or "unsupported" without really articulating it further sometimes. I mean I know that most of the time I have a reason like that in my mind, but really making sure to subvocalize it each time I think will help towards making less dumb mistakes. If I find myself unable to truly subvocalize a concrete reason, and can only come up with something like "its too strong," then I'll circle it for BR even if I'm still 100% sure its wrong. I guess one could make the point that if I can't subvocalize it further then I can't be 100% sure its wrong, but either way I think it will help.
This will also take a little bit more time, which may make redo sections a little bit tougher and more worthwhile.

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
I've been approaching December a lot more carefully than I was for October (I never took October)
I took a PT on Monday and BR'ed all day yesterday. Opened another PT to take today, but then I immediately realized I was on track to burning myself out. For October, I would've pushed through and I would've convinced myself that I was building stamina. Now, I'm positive that taking 3 PT's a week doesn't work out for me. 2 at most, with at least 2 BR sessions per test.

I feel ya. I'm taking it in December anyways, but it's been tough to find time to study.roshan07 wrote:thinking of all the schoolwork I have this month and the fact that the Dec LSAT is during finals week and whether or not I should wait till Feb

UGH. Did not study for the LSAT again after work. I instead watched Batman Begins on Netflix.
I really need to pick up a slack!!!!

Guys, stupid question but I'll ask anyway: Can law schools see when you postpone the test? I've decided that it's best to apply for next cycle and so I won't be taking the December test. Only concern is that it may raise some red flags.

Gotcha, thanks. Only asked because I've postponed multiple times.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:StopLawying wrote:Guys, stupid question but I'll ask anyway: Can law schools see when you postpone the test? They don't care. It doesn't show up on your report, and it's not really unreasonable to say you're not ready yet.

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
I find that by the 3rd section I am dragging pretty hard when I PT, I can feel the mental fatigue. Sections 1-2 are fine, and even 4-5 are fine. Its actually brutal doing LSAT questions for an hour and a half straight
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
