Re: The Official February 2016 Waiter's Thread
I'm actually kinda the same. I don't know...it's like I have a split personality or something haha...one side of me is overly-optimistic like, "I just have a feeling I got a 172" and the other side is like, "I probably didn't even crack 160. I did horrible." I don't know which side to "side" with. I know my LG was a little weaker than usual (timing issues and skipping around, which hardly never happens to me). I feel pretty much the same as I normally do about RC, which is like shit. But somehow it always ends up being OK. And LR...I really have no freaking clue. I still don't know which of my 3 sections were real. I just don't knowwww, man. I don't knowwww!!!
I just really don't wanna be disappointed in my score when it does come out. I'm such a perfectionist...I literally think I'll be mad at myself forever lol

I'm stocking up on beers and bourbon to help me get through when the score does come out.
Good or bad, I'll be drinking it up!

Re: The Official February 2016 Waiter's Thread
For all you overly optimistic people out there - in October I felt super confident post-test. I ended up scoring 5 points lower than what I had calculated as my most probable score.
For all you overly pessimistic people out there - in December, I was absolutely sure I bombed it. I scored 4 points higher than what I had calculated as my most probable score.
What does this all mean? Maybe I just can't accurately predict how I did on a test, but I think more than that, it's an example of how hard it is to predict accurately. We never know until we know !

Re: The Official February 2016 Waiter's Thread
Did anyone else guess on any parts, and anticipate there being a decent chance that that could have a significant enough effect on their score?
I guessed on basically 2 games, and it would really help if I got 2 correct answer choices (I guessed the same letter, but I forget which now).

Yeah, I'll buy into this. Even on my PTs it seemed like this was the case, I felt completely wrecked by what turned out to be the highest score I ever got on one. Oh glorious PT 69 how I wish I had taken you in real life.RonnyDiniro wrote:For all you overly optimistic people out there - in October I felt super confident post-test. Also, is it weird if I hear DeNiro's voice in my head every time I read one of your posts?

It's not weird as long as you picture him doing the classic DeNiro face ever time as wellShib26 wrote:Yeah, I'll buy into this. Feel like I did bad on LG, because I caught a rule in the game late
Is that better than totally missing the rule?

I did an awful job at predicting my PT scores too. My version of your PT 69 was PT 71...thought I did terrible but got my highest score. If onlyyyyShib26 wrote:Yeah, I'll buy into this. Well 2 games is around 10 questions right? With 5 possible answer choices, that's two of each letter. Unless you got pretty unlucky, guessing the same letter over two games probably got you 2 correct.dontsaywhatyoumean wrote:Did anyone else guess on any parts, and anticipate there being a decent chance that that could have a significant enough effect on their score?

Anyone discover time travel yet? I'd really like it to be Monday the 29th instead of the 22nd.

It depends on my score. If I'm unhappy with it, I'll just do what I do best.......pout in my room & binge-watch Netflix & not utter a word about my score. If I'm happy, I'll probably tell my parents and idk. Just be happy I guess!

As far as celebrations go, that depends on the results.
