We can try Google Hangout for a while & if a better way of working online comes up, then we can switch over to that if needed. I'm looking forward to working with everyone that's interested :D
Very interested. Could we set an agenda? For example, have everyone do Section #2 of PT whatever LR or whatever, then everyone discuss their thought processes for each questions, kind of like a book club :)

That's exactly what I was thinking. I wanted to wait until tomorrow to get a tally of the people interested & then directly contact them to come to an agreement on what we should discuss in our first meeting. I wanted to suggest that we all do a timed practice test (doesn't matter which one to me, as long as we all do the same one) & then go over our scores together & the problems we found to be difficult/easy etc. If you'd like, PM me your google hangouts username (a gmail account should be fine) & we can go from there :)

Yeah, I've registered. The June administrations are the only ones on a Monday, and it's the only test at noon. All others are Saturdays in the morning.

June test is always on a Monday, as well as always in the afternoon. And it's before the app cycles open up so it is, in my opinion, the best time to take the test. :)

Hi again! Did most of you find it more beneficial to finish the Powerscore Bibles THEN start on preptests? Or did you incorporate them while reading the bibles? Would love to hear your input :)

I'm doing the 7Sagd online curriculum with the Trainer book. I'm also using the Manhattan RC book. I'm drilling question types with Cambridge and LG.

Once I finish this hopefully by end of Feb, I will start PTing. That will give me an indication of what my LSAT skills really are.

Hope that helps!!

From what I've heard through talking to people who have taken the test & read online, the June test seems to have the lowest curve & the December seems to have the highest. I could be mistaken, but this is just what I've gathered. It would make sense since people taking it have a lot of time to study between December/February (assuming they're retaking) & just the fact that you don't have to take the test very early in the morning would make it easier for a lot of people.

To everyone that PMed me in regards to the study group: I tried to do a group message, but for some reason I wasn't able to send a PM to more than one person at a time. Regardless, if everyone who PMed me is OK with it, I'd like to suggest that we all do PT #50 (timed) & go over it together on Saturday; I'm thinking we can meet up on Google Hangouts at 12PM PST. Let me know either on here or via PM if this works for you. If anyone else that hasn't PMed yet would like to join us, please feel free to PM me your username so I can add you to the group on Saturday. I hope everyone is having a great week so far & I look forward to talking to you guys soon :)

Sounds good! How'd you do on the PT?

Not gonna lie to you; it was rough. It was the first time I've taken a PT since the December test & I got a bit nervous when I was going through it. I'm still trying to get over this weird anxiety I get when I practice under test day conditions; slowly but surely getting over it. The thing that's really disappointing for me is, when I'm going through my timed drills, my accuracy is still much higher than when I take a PT. My RC drills for example, are either a mix that I put together (1 from each RC category) or I just pull them directly from a PT. Regardless of how I do it, I still average -3/-4 when I'm timing myself; today I missed WAY more than. Once I do a few more PTs & get a bit more comfortable again, I'm sure my score will go back up to what it was when I was prepping last time around (hopefully even higher now that I'm prepping in a more efficient manner). How did yours go!? I'm excited to hear back from everyone that took the PT tomorrow.

I did! The ultimate, I definitely think it's useful! So I'm using that with Trainer and Manhattan RC. I hope my materials are enough to make my goals!! *fingers crossed*. But so far it's been good.

That said, the prep materials are what you put into it. I.e. Understanding the concepts, drilling, reviewing and then PTing when you have mastered the materials.

I'm on a similar schedule. I'd like to start PTing in a couple weeks so I have about 15 weeks to do 15 tests. I've already taken like 23 PTs in my failed February prep.
