Pre-2011 this happened all the time. The record (I believe) was a 17-day turnaround for June 2009. Typical was more like 18-20. Since 2011 the June test has always been 21 or 22.

i think in terms of man's law- sure. But i think the lord of the light or whatever super natural power at play saw him as a pawn to defeat the white walkers. its funny because the story is about one's destiny through ability and work but there's so much super natural shit shaping the course.

Stannis is like the dude who had the right skills to rule westeros, but he isn't the leader they need. his splintered off army will probably help jon snow

yeah the show seems like a rerun with tyrion running mereen. I think we'll see a lot more varys bc that greyworm vocab is pretty shallow and the other girl seems like she doesn't do much but handle bitching.

i think dany's part is to bring a huge army that's not from westeros so "everyone" is fighting the white walkers. She'll probably kill some dothaki dude because if the show keeps making her marry, propostioned to marry, or about to be marry to some guy, show is fucking getting stale.

i think they milked all the political drama from his first run. the set up of a shitty nephew, a sister that hates you and politically conspires against you with others, your dad doesn't like you but you are still helping him, and of course some stannis mannis is all about that blackwater invade.

Mereen is mirroring a revolution state which is interesting in a macro scale, but in terms of personal drama its just him trying to prove can he do it. I haven't read the books but if the son of the harpy has a cool leader then it could be interesting. since the show relies so much on dialogue, all i see him doing is having conversations with advisers which is why i thought dany's mereen stay was kind of boring. It's great when he tyrion had to work with people actively sabotaging him
