Guys, how do you evaluate your progress when you're retaking PTs? Since I only have two unused PTs, most of my prep is going to be old PTs. How do you guys gauge if you're actually improving or if your memory is just great?

I wish I could answer this. I don't know how much my PT's score are even worth at this point.daisrt wrote:Guys, how do you evaluate your progress when you're retaking PTs? I know. I want to be elated about my score from the PT I took last night but I really have to take the retake scores with a grain of salt.flash21 wrote:I wish I could answer this. Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
For what its worth I'm not giving my PT's too much weight. Reason being is that my highest fresh PT when prepping for October was 166, and I've exceeded that twice already with the only two practice tests I've taken which are re-takes. I doubt its a coincidence. I'm trying to get my review down and not worrying so much about my scores, but I'm aiming for 170 since I've already taken these tests.daisrt wrote:I know. Yeah, I think that's a good game plan. I think drilling and thorough review is the way to go at this point.flash21 wrote:For what its worth I'm not giving my PT's too much weight. Does anyone PT and have a hard time doing much else LSAT work that day? I am trying to blind review and blind reviewed games without much issue but just thought about doing RC and LR and I can't bring myself to do it. Anyone else have this issue?

How do guys do BR?
Do you look back at all the questions you got wrong and take them again a second time?

Okay. I just feel bad when I'm not studying, sigh. good to know I'm not the only one, though. Will probably finish the other 3 sections tomorrow then.. might just go read for leisuresomethingelse55 wrote:Yep. I've resorted to BRing the next day. I can still remember my thought processes pretty well, I don't think its much of a detriment. Though I see the argument for BRing an hour or so after taking the PT. Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
I just got off work and am BRing the PT I took last night. I think if you BR the next day it's not a huge deal since the stuff is relatively fresh in your mind. It's impossible for me to BR same day for weekday PTs since I work FT. So I finish my PT around 9:15ish and get home around 9:40. There's just nooo way. Do you work?flash21 wrote:Does anyone PT and have a hard time doing much else LSAT work that day? Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
just took PT 48, what an insane curve. -8 for a 170?!?! it wasn't even easier than normal.
LR -7 (tricky questions in this PT)
LG -3 (last game threw me off)
RC -5
Score 165
curve destroyed me
