Same thing happened to me. I panicked on game three instead of skipping it and I screwed up game 3 and 4. It carried over into the fifth section for me.AllIn1212 wrote:Game 3 ruined my Game 4 also, and carried into my next section. My PT grades were so inflated considering I had done every PT already(been studying since May...) that I know I won't be scoring the average of them. I'm just hoping that it's only like -2 or -3 belowAbbeyS wrote:Yeah I feel like I just did eh, okay...but I just have a feeling I got low 160's instead of high 160'sTexasENG wrote:I probably didn't hit mine, but hoping to get in 1 stdev of it which will put me ~2 points higher than my last test.AbbeyS wrote:Am I the only one who feels like they didn't hit their PT average?

Yeah I mean any improvement is good improvement compared to my last score. So I shouldn't start acting ungrateful for a score that's better than my last...but still. I just had such high hopes for myself cause I'd made so many improvements in my studying. It goes through cycles with me. Immediately after the test I thought I bombed it. Then last week I was like nah on second thought I think I aced it. Now I'm back to thinking I underperformed, but honestly as long as it's not more than 2 or 3 lower than my PT average I'd be ok because that's still an improvement from December. I'm just ready for the wait to be over and get all my decisions back from schools so I can figure out where I'm going to live for the next 3 years.AbbeyS wrote:Am I the only one who feels like they didn't hit their PT average?

It's been two weeks, you're mind has gone back and forth over this test that you've coincide yourself you totally bombed it. Try to stay positive. Of course, I should take my own advice.AbbeyS wrote:Am I the only one who feels like they didn't hit their PT average?

Re: The Official February 2016 Waiter's Thread
I certainly scored less than PT average on LG, and possibly not my best on LR, but still probably did well on LR. RC I have no freaking clue.
I'm wondering how many of you think you likely scored within a 5 point range of what you want/need on the Feb LSAT? That makes me freaking nervous, I think if I did well enough, I did just barely well enough, and if I did poorly, just barely. I think the most somewhat realistic-optimistic prediction of how I did is probably 3-4 points better than what I want/need. That seems way too close.
Worst case I think 2 points worse than what I need. For some reason I think I more likely scored lower than higher, but I don't know if that's a cognitive bias that just tends toward the pessimistic, possibly due to "conservative" predictions more likely being accurate, even though I don't know if that applies to this sort of prediction.
I mean, of course it's more likely you hit at least a 158 than a 162, but when not referring to at least, but one or the other.

Re: The Official February 2016 Waiter's Thread
I have the opposite problem to a lot of you guys here. I tend to be overly optimistic on these types of things. So I'm here thinking about my 173 even though I never scored that high on any of my PTs. If I were to actually think about the test though, I feel like so many things could potentially go wrong, I could have fucked up LG, could have scored way below my LR average, could have really messed up RC...who knows?!

I think I got a 180, and I'm not even joking. The highest my PT has been was 170.
(first time i ever took the test, i thought i got a 170. i got a 157, just to give perceptive.)
