Is there a solid reason as to why C is not a necessary assumption in 60.3.22?

the premises clearly say that increasing demand causes gasoline price raise. this is same as saying gasoline demand can't increase without gasoline price increase, which is C.
it seems just because it's a premise doesn't mean it's not a necessary assumption in case that is one of the reasons one used for elimitating this choice. i see why A is a required assumption but don't see why C is not.

What did they include before?
All I remember from their earlier books was a discussion of how the LSAT goes out of their way to affirm underrepresented groups ( NAs, AAs, ect) and why you should keep this in mind when reading passages. There was also quite a bit of focus on notation, but I didn't like the symbols they used. Ultimately it didnt focus enough on the important aspects of RC, such as reasoning structure and understanding the different points represented and how they relate to one another, and this became apparent only after I read Manhattan's RC, and even more so when I got the Trainer. For me personally the Trainer was great!

The author assumes the government is responsible for something it didn't do. In A, you assume the government is responsible, even if it causes something indirectly. C is incorrect because the connection between the increased demand and increased price is explicitly stated in the argument. We don't need to assume that increased demand always causes prices to increase; it's enough to know that this is the case in this particular example.

I did a couple weeks ago! I kind of needed to in order to remind myself that I was actually going to take the test and that I should probably study...

Signed up for mine a couple weeks ago. Have signed up for last December and last February and ended up backing out of both - fee waiver saved me some money on those.

Anyway, just completed my first timed section of LG in about 8 months. Was prepping last fall/winter and had gotten into a good range. Didn't have the other sections down that well so postponed a couple times and invested in the Trainer and Manhattan LR guides. Neglected LG as I felt comfortable. Have been worried, though, after doing some during practice that I'd have forgotten those skills. I was reallllllly rusty, but have done some untimed games and never miss any. Timed section today I was able to relax at the end of the last game and went -2 for the section. Feels REALLY good to have had that happen. I thought I was screwed because the first game I messed up a rule and one of the others I had a brain fart and luckily caught a screw up early. Timed practice really is a different beast.

It feels like it would be useful, but I've never done it.

This will be my August until I burn out, hit 160, and break down crying only to days later emerge from the abyss as a brilliant 180 phoenix! No victory without struggle my friends.

To whoever hasn't paid yet, you should probably do that. Idk how often test centers fill up, but you'll be very unhappy if your local center sells out and you have to drive hours away. Also, if there's any truth to certain test centers being better, those will fill up first because of 0L gunners.

In other news, this thread is blowing up! Poast harder guys, we're gonna hit 180 by test day.

I think I've seen it in a study guide or two, so I'm assuming there's some independent benefit to it. I just haven't done it myself.

ETA: Did a little google magic and found it in TLS1776's guide:

Taking PTs for multiple days in a row - Several high-scorers mentioned that they took PTs every day for a period of time; for the first 3/4 of my prep I was taking my PTs at a rate of at most one a week, but in the spring of 2010 I experimented with taking PTs for several days in row (you can see this on my spreadsheet). The first time I did it, I took a five-section test for six days, and then checked my scores on all the tests on the last day. What I noticed (and this is important) was that after a few days in a row of taking a full five-section test I found it easier to process the text of the test. My PT scores on those tests seem to confirm that observation: my first two PT scores were 174s, but then I jumped up to 178s. I used this observation to prepare for the actual June test by taking a PT the night before the exam.

I may try it in a 3 or 4 day span sometime.
