Re: February 2014 Waiters
People who work during the day / might be in class around release time: how are you going to handle opening the email?
Obviously, I realllyyyy want to know how I did but I'd much rather be sitting down at home with a beer in hand when opening LSAT_SCORE's message. (But not if it means having to let it sit there for a few hours.)
Planning on taking Wednesday the 5th off work if scores aren't reported by the deadline day.

Will you put on any music? That's my plan, regardless of where I happen to be when it comes in.sanibella wrote:I am going to open it when I get it.Baby_Got_Feuerbach wrote:People who work during the day / might be in class around release time: how are you going to handle opening the email?

I will likely be at work and wouldn't be able to interrupt a lesson to put on music but if I am at home, the Rocky theme doesn't sound like it would be a bad idea. What song have you selected?Baby_Got_Feuerbach wrote:Will you put on any music? My last 5 test average was 168. But I know I underperformed.

Northwestern as a pipe dream but I think their deadline passed anywaysanibella wrote:Please, please tell me you are aiming for UChicago or Northwestern.

I wonder which school has the most people who consider Illinoise to be among their t5 favorite albums.

Also, has LSAC ever released scores on a weekend?
In June 2005, June 2007, February 2010, and October 2010 scores came out on Saturdays, according to this page.
ETA: This page also claims that Sunday releases are "not uncommon" ? ??
Dang 4 times?

Well, you probably have a better chance getting money applying early next year anyway. Or at least that is what I tell myselfBaby_Got_Feuerbach wrote:Good guess.sanibella wrote:I take it you are a first-time test taker and haven't applied anywhere?Baby_Got_Feuerbach wrote:Northwestern as a pipe dream but I think their deadline passed anywaysanibella wrote:Please, please tell me you are aiming for UChicago or Northwestern.Maybe next cycle? Being pessimistic is more optimal. Most of the time you will be right, and when you are not, it will be a pleasant surprise.HanShotFirst wrote: I wish I could be an optimist

Re: February 2014 Waiters
I scheduled all my school visits between the exam and the release dates so I'd be busy. Honestly forgot about it most of the time, and I have no approximate idea of how I did now. Ignorance is bliss. I'm not thinking about it until I have to. Kind of surprised at how well it's working. Hell, I might not open the email when it comes... Nah I'll tear into it like a vicious, crazed wolf like everyone else.haus wrote:Being pessimistic is more optimal. I'm a very relaxed person, and when I got my December score a couple months ago my heart was racing. Just a heads up to all the first timers.

Yeah I've got a feeling that I'll blackout and won't be able to tell my grandchildren about that time my LSAT score came.logicspeaks wrote:I'm a very relaxed person, and when I got my December score a couple months ago my heart was racing. Just a heads up to all the first timers.
