welcome to the abyss
yeah i did that, apparently not a good idea:

PT 58 - 169
LR -6
LG -5
RC -1

bawwwwwwww score drop

my only consolation is that i was soooo tired while doing this, and finished each section like 8 mins early? guess i need to slow down (and sleep more). seriously i'm going to try to get 8 hours a night from here on out.

Gotta wait for the transcripts.

You can figure it out in the interim here-

Is there any point in trying to study for the December LSAT? I am thinking of prepping 5 hours a day just so I don't have to wait another year to apply.

are you asking if you should study or take it cold? Or just try to cram so you can apply this cycle?
The latter.

You have 45 days. It's not optimal, but I think it can be done. One of the tutors on the board crammed in like, a month by doing 2 PTs a day and ended up with (I believe) a perfect score. Not recommended, but certainly doable.
Read as: self-inflicted torture.

Trainer came in the mail yesterday and it is glorious! Something about the way it is is written... it's confidence boosting, in a way. Read the intro chapters last night and going to tackle Ch 5 and the first drilling set this evening. Anyone else just start? How do you like it? I know you're out there!

Honestly, if I could unlearn PowerScore at this point, I would. Reading Manhattan and now Trainer, I feel like it set me up for some bad habits.

Didn't do anything yesterday because I passed out (unintentionally) at like 7:30pm (I slept 2 hours the night before...insomnia ftw). So today I'm debating not doing the PT I was supposed to do and instead working on drilling reading comps and a few Weaken/Flaw LR question types. What do you guys think would be better? I may also go back into the trainer and work a little there with reading comp. I would do PT 47 today if I took it but I feel like I want to develop more consistency in Reading Comp.

I just started reading the Trainer too. I already like it better than the Powerscore Books I bought because it seems focused on helping you understand the underlying nature of the test, and understanding something is always the best way to conquer it.

I'm in the same boat! Was planning on taking the June 2014 LSAT & apply to law schools next year, but recent changes at work have suddenly enabled me to have more free time to study. I think if we study hardcore till December, we might be able to pull it off. If we aren't ready, we can always withdraw from the exam the night before the test.

Uh oh -- what bad habits? I already did PowerScore and am expecting Trainer in the mail.

i wouldn't do the PT today - you're probably still exhausted. It sounds like you'd feel more productive doing drilling, so do that. Don't waste a test just to check it off. IMO.

The mental clarity boost is INSANE. A fellow October Waiter got her first 180 after trying it for the first time, and it helped her get over the 175 plateau permanently leading up to test day.
Well, in that case, I guess I'll pay Amazon a visit lol. How long does the boost last? No crashing? I just know my apartment-mate puts a scoop into her pre-workout smoothies.
