Re: The Official September 2014 Study Group
T’was the night before LSAT, and all through the thread
Not a person was studying; they were all touching themselves in bed.
We’ve seen scores in the 170’s, 160’s, and 150’s galore
We’ve got posts that say “I don’t wanna study for this fucking shit anymore”
Gents, tomorrow we will embark on a day that we will remember for the rest of our lives. This will be the most important test that we ever take. It defines our future. It makes us feel superior. It allows us to move, virtually, wherever we want to get an education. So sure, we have every right to be nervous.
However, you must be reminded. Somehow, the average score is 151. The scores that the majority of us are getting blow everyone else’s out of the park. We’ll be fine. If you go from a 175 to a 165, you’ll be fine. If you walk out of that TC crying, you’ll be fine. If they throw in a game from hell, you’ll be fine. Everyone in this thread will always feel your pain.
Perspective is the key. When you go to you respective TC tomorrow, just know that you’re better than literally 100% of the other people in that room. No one has put in the hours we have, has the resources we have, has the support we have, or has the knowledge/experience we have. We run this shit.
Be ready for that first section. Even in my most recent PT’s, my first section was always a “white girl wasted” #struggle. However, it reminds me of one of my more favorite quotes:
“When you’re struggling, just be yourself.”
“When you’re yourself, just be normal.”
“When you’re succeeding above your expectations, just be yourself.”
Keep a level head throughout this bitch. If you get through section IV feeling like “wow, this has been really easy!” that only foreshadows the hardest section coming up. The test is over when its over. Whether you are struggling or flying through it, do not make those predictive thoughts of “oh well I’ve probably missed 4 so far, so I can afford to miss X more” because that is a perfect set up for a pressure packed crumble.
We’re gonna do fine. The games are gonna be simple. The curve is bound to be generous. Our studies have prepared us for this. Nothing we see will be anything we haven’t seen. Deep breathes bechs.
This thread is one of the best on here. As you can see by a simple visit to some other threads, people tend to act like assholes sometimes to feel better about themselves. Here, everyone is supportive because we all have the same goal. Everyone in here is fucking clever as fuck too. The GIFS are tremendous. Not gonna lie, I always thought (prior to becoming a member) that GIFS were sort of weird things. Like, you know what I’m talking about. Those memes with the stick figures with a big round head and a huge mouth. Or the memes with the stick figure wearing the sun glasses. IDK you guys know what I mean. But the GIFs about the tennis player and the one that was posted like 3 weeks back with the kid in a toy car being pushed down a hill were both HOF. I tried to liven it up in here, but you guys are intulectulez so you snuffed it out and internally responded “da fuck? IGNORE” jk but u no wut I mn.
Looking at the thread, people are all posting the scores they’d retake if they got. We are all high shooters (you guys even more so than me by one point). LSAC is probz gonna SOYB tomorrow. Guys, we scrong. If I’m scrong den u scrong then. So aight we scrong.

I’ll leave you with one of my fav song lyrics of all time. I have a dogtag necklace I wear everyday to the lib. The lyric states, “Whatever takes us away will be the same to drive us on.” It means that this LSAT has taken us away from our lives. Me, personally, I’ve studied a little 2500 hours (104 days). I know you guys probably have logged even more hours than that. This has taken us away from the lives we knew. But, when we get those scores, its gonna drive us into the future we desire. All of this hard work will pay off. Stated out with a 149. Gained an average of 20 points. Its all gonna pay off. The LSAT has taken us away, but our scores are what’s gonna drive us on to the next 50 years of our life. We will be better than 95% plus of the rest of the world. Never forget that.
Gents, get a good night’s sleep with a clear head (and I mean if you want totez try to GET head cuz I heard it helps). Wake up early tomorrow, eat a good breakfast, go for a run, warm up, and LETS RIDE. I can’t wait to see you guys at the other side. I’ll be drunk posting throughout the aftanoon you don’t wanna miss it. I hope tht u gaiz join cuz itl mak me fel kewl
Guys, we’re about to gape LSAC tomorrow. They won’t know what hit em. Our future starts at 8 30. We’re gonna make it. We’re not only gonna make it, we’re gonna fucking blow their fucking minds. We are overachievers. Every dick question they throw at us is one we’ll laugh at and say “heh heh heh bech u tried the same thang PT 4 S3 Q22 I know your trickz and they are for kids.”
Can’t wait for tomorrow afternoon. Guys, our lives are about to be back. This is about to be over. Its gonna pay off. Lets go kick its ass.

It's hard to follow up a grey PW, but do you guys think this will be ok for my ticket? Do I look too happy? White on white was a bad choice, but I'm too lazy to change [story of my life] Hmm why is my head not centered
P.S. Hi everyone!

Re: The Official September 2014 Study Group
i made a post about this the other night but i was drunk and it was not so coherent so i deleted it
couple comments based on my past lsat fuck-ups:
if you're not absolutely sure how to get to the test center, do a dry run
i showed up at the wrong school 10 minutes before test start on my first take
allow an extra half hour than you think you need if you're driving or taking public transportation
you can always do more warming up if you get there early
if you can't sleep melatonin is probably fine
but if you're sleep deprived tomorrow don't overcompensate with caffeine
and remember:
it's just a test
one that you can take again if you mess up
don't psych yourself out
that's how people fuck up
wishing everyone good luck tomorrow
