You cannot even fit the booklet open on these desks. You have to fold it over. How am I going to do LG and RC?!!!!!b!!b!! I can't fit the answer sheet, I can't put my watch on the desk.

You are going to rock the casbah, sfogs. Deep breath. It's great that you know this going into the test.. now you're prepared. Maybe try visualizing a way to move between the booklet, answer sheet, and watch. Just visualize the choreography. It will help. You will be OK. I took the MCAT on such a desk, and it sucks, but on test day you find a way to supersede these things.

So it's really complicated to get a picture from your iPhone into a 2x2 format. But, after about 90 minutes I've accomplished it. Now I have one picture taped to my sheet and second different picture taped to the next page in case the first one isn't good enough.

In other news there is apparently a shuttle that runs from my hotel to the school where I'm testing at which leaves only on the half hour. So I suppose I will shuttle over at 7:30.

BTW I see now that Velocity LSAT now gives explanations for all sections from 32-72 online for free so I'm going to sit back and let Dave Hall explain some RC to me … in the tub.

Fogs I took June on a desk like that, it sucks but you can have both pages open on it and you'll make it work!

For anyone whose taken it before, how long does the nervousness last? Like, is it apparent throughout the test? Or does it go away? I feel like, especially for LR you sorta need to be on your game from question 1. Lg at least you're diagramming and RC at least you're reading for a few minutes, but I feel like you almost can't afford to be nervous if LR is the 1st section

I would rather have LR first because I do have more wiggle room. I generally finish the section with 5-10 minutes remaining, so a little bit of tension in those first (easy) questions can be massaged away gradually. LG is horrible to be nervous in because it can screw up an entire diagram, rule representation, or even game - and because your timing is so precise you can be screwed up badly.

BJS, not even exagerrating, our desks are half the size of that. They those ones you can fold over and down the side of the chair.

I'm at Target right now trying to find a bezel watch that fits my wrist, so tthe one I have is too big and needs to be put on the desk.

Yes, the ones with the fold-down L-shaped jobs from high school. They fucking suck, but they are manageable.
