Phenomenal! (And I second the "darn RC.")brendo17 wrote:Long time lurker finally deciding to check-in here. Love how supportive this thread is.
I've been studying fairly seriously since May, but I'm working full time as well, so most of my studying happens on the weekends or late at night after work. I spent a lot of time drilling LG early on, and its really paid off, so I would definitely second the general consensus of "drill baby drill." I'm about 15 points above my diagnostic at this point, but still have a few points to go to put me over that hump (darn RC). Best of luck to everybody else with their studying!

No!!! Thats why joined!! Thought u guys were serious!!!
Fun times though always need a good break afterwhile.
lol not serious. jk... I was sitting in class when my professor decided to translate an article that was only semi-related to what we were talking about and I started mapping out a study schedule. Will definitely have to do this more seriously though!
What do you guys think of doing one section of LG each day (35 minutes)? I read somewhere here that it's good to LG, then watch the video if you're unclear and then redo it immediately. And then redo the same one 24 hours later. If I do that everyday (so a section each day plus redo the one from the day prior), will that be okay as far as LG is concerned? (LR and RC are on a different schedule).

Using my first post to join the group... Half - assed my prep (163 PT average) and nerves got best of me on Saturday. Just set up a schedule for December prep and pretty pumped to make this Test call me daddy!

sounds like a solid plan, I gotta start throwing a few games in on my lunch breakpeppermint wrote:I think doing a section of LG a day (and watching the corresponding videos) is def a great idea because it'll keep your skills from getting rusty. Also, if you mess up when you do it the next day, then that will show that you still have weaknesses to fix.WorldsCollide wrote:What do you guys think of doing one section of LG each day (35 minutes)? I've been doing something similar - I do 7-10 games a day (still in the drilling/untimed phase right now) & then I do the ones that gave me the most trouble the next day. At the end of the week, I gather up all the troublesome ones and do them again (except timed this time). It's really been helping.

I'd love to join in on the schedule of PT's.. I've got access to all of the exams to date with power score.. How do these align with the pt #.. for example is pt #55 a certain actual previous test?

I'm so with you! I sat for the exam on Saturday. I went in already registered for December and planning on absolutely killing it on December. Did you cancel your score or are you waiting to see how you did? I'm relatively sure I won't cancel.

I hear ya on that one... idk I gotta figure something out bc after work I don't wanna do anything but lay down and close my eyes :/ I got plenty of motivation and want to study but no energy to do sopeppermint wrote:There's some days where I don't have any energy at night to study so when I remember that I did about 3 of them during my lunch break, I don't feel guilty for wanting to take a nap hahaJgoods wrote:sounds like a solid plan, I gotta start throwing a few games in on my lunch breakpeppermint wrote:I think doing a section of LG a day (and watching the corresponding videos) is def a great idea because it'll keep your skills from getting rusty. How about before work? That's what I do. I reserve my 6:00-9:00 AM to LSAT Prep.

I leave my house for work at 8am so getting ready for work at 7-720ish Id have to wake up at like 4 and go to bed when I get home... I mean doable but that would take awhile to adapt... and I'd miss out on convos with all you lovely people and be all alone at 4amWorldsCollide wrote:How about before work? That's what I do. ... tho it is a tempting idea to try, Wake up at 3, workout till 4, study till 8 and head to work, get home at 5:45, eat, review/study for 1 hr and sleep... hmm lmao
eta: reread that and was just like...

I did.. but only because my job was 13hr rotating shifts. so some days I would work 6a-7p then the next wk was 6p-7a.. i spent way too much time adjusting my body for work than being able to study.. Hopefully, after the test I can either go back or find something that at least pays close to it.thelincolnlawyer wrote:On board with all of the full-time workers out there struggling to concentrate after work.
