I’ll be using the 180 watch!

I just took PT 58 today. Scored a 173 and it bummed me out... I am so thrilled to be at the point where I am bummed about a 173. I never thought that I would get to the point where a score like that would be disappointing.

I am also convinced that timing on RC is my bane. I really need to focus and work on improving this. My accuracy has gotten really good lately, but I just take too long answering the questions. Ugh!!!

I made an "ugh" face at my 173 on Sunday. I mean, I've gotten ONE score above that so far. I had to give myself a wee reality check.

Just finished PT52

LR1 -2
LG -2
LR2 -0
RC -7

89 Raw , scaled 170
My first 170 AND my first perfect section :D

I definitely got lucky on a few of the questions, but this is still really motivating. I'm probably going to fall back on PTs for a little while and try to focus on RC. This is the third straight PT where my RC timing was bad and my overall score suffered for it =/

This outcome on the real thing (from luck or skill) would be a dream come true for me

Just took PT 62

RC: -4
LR1: -1
LG: -1
LR2: -3

Raw: 93/102 -- Scaled: 174

This is my second 174 in the last 1.5 weeks so I'm pretty pumped - both times just 1 question away from my 175 goal. However, I had one 168 and one 169 between those two so I'm working to normalize for the next month.

What's everyone's caffeine situation? I think I'm starting to rely on it to study so I'll probably have to ask my bf to take the day off and bring me some during the break on test day. That should be allowed, right?

When I started studying late.. I don't drink it that much though, maybe like 2-3 times/week.

It really helps me. I'm not the kind to take any kind of med or vitamins, I hate even taking Tylenol for headaches, so I was hesitant at first. But it really helps me concentrate.

Checking in. 173 last June.
After applying and getting disappointing scholarship offers, I have realized how debt adverse I am. I want the highest score possible for scholarships and a possible NU ED. Good luck to everyone else as well!

I drink it every morning but don’t plan on drinking any during the break. Do you normally do that when you take PTs?

I drink before and on the break. I guess I need to lose the habit!

theramblingfool wrote:Hey guys, just checking in.

Took the December LSAT and utterly underperformed. My PTs the last month of studying were all between 173 and 178 but I got a 167 on the real thing. My cold diagnostic was a 168, so needless to say, I wasn't very happy.

The day of the LSAT, I woke up abruptly ill (fever and bad congestion) but after drugging up on DayQuil, I didn't feel like it affected me *that much*. It must have had some effect, but I still don't (entirely) attribute my lower score to it.

LG -2 (typically -1 or -2, so that was normal)
LR1 -2 (typically -0 or -1, so not a huge outlier)
RC -8 (typically -5 or -6, my worst section, but I had been improving before the test)
LR2 -4 (I have *never* on a single PT missed more than 2 on a LR section, this upset me)

I noticed that I got MUCH worse on the second half of the test, so perhaps being sick just sapped the mental stamina out of me. I don't know...

Either way, I have a free take and I knew I could do better so here I am. This time around, I haven't even been PTing. I'm so paranoid about RC that I've most just been drilling that. I'm going to add back LG again here soon (it's such an easy skill to lose) and probably next week start doing 2 PTs a week.

If anyone has any specific suggestions on RC, though, I'd be happy to hear them!
Welcome :) I'm on the same boat as you in regards to RC. Any and all suggestions welcome!

@theramblingfool

You're not alone... I scored more than 10 Points below my average. If that happens again ill have to beat myself.

Make or break, do or die in T minus 33 days!

On a happier note I scored 174 on PT69. Only if I could convert that to an official score...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
