Just took PT 46. Scored 171!!!!!!! Ah so happy.

-6 on RC, -3 on LR#1, -0 LR #2, -0 on LG#1

Started at 147, now i'm here. The games section was actually used as an experimental in my Diagnostic. I scored -14 on it. Today i scored perfect. Crazy what a few months can do. New goal, hit 175 by Mid-November. In the course of 4 weeks i've raised my expectations from maybe going to a regional to shooting for the big boys.

PTs still going up and down in scores. No consistency yet.... sigh. MY timing on LR sucks so much. All the questions I miss are the last 5 because I never get to them. Is there any use in BR questions you don't get to. Sucks. I just need to speed up on the first 10 and this problem should be alleviated.

Ugh I'm with you on the inconsistent PT scores. For me, drilling LR sections and really focusing on getting the timing right(ish :P ) helped a lot. Good luck! :)

Hey Everyone,

Just jumping in this thread for the first time. I've been digging through the posts and have a few questions for you guys:

A little background - December will be my second attempt at the LSAT. I took a live TestMasters course last year and scored a 160, but I'm shooting for a 170+ on this time around. I've been self-studying with the PowerScore books (LR and LG) and taking periodic practice tests yet I haven't broken the 170 ceiling yet.

First, what is blind review and how does it benefit your study plan?

Second, how are you guys going about studying for the last month before the test? Any particular approach besides prep tests and review?

Thanks for the help!

Hi,

Checking in for a retake. Sat October 2013, waiting on my score but I am sure I will not get my desired score.

haha Texans.

Lost by 1 w/ a QB that's never made a start before. Ain't even mad.

But I guess getting a 171 isn't bad for not having looked at anything except the LSAT trainer since the Oct exam. Which means my mind is still in LSAT mode.

Have you tried reading the stimulus first? I had the same problem as you in LR and that pretty much solved it.
