What law schools actually take people with 120s or even just a straight 120? I would think even the worst schools would still require some amazing UG grades or soft factor to really justify scoring that.

That's true, but I do know a few people who've attended non-ABA approved schools and have had a successful legal career, although I assume that a very difficult thing to do and a rare occurrence.

Well I know a friend of my mom graduated from Univ. of West LA, which is just CalBar approved I think and he did under 140 on his LSAT I know. But he went straight into solo practice in family law and does pretty well.

Why do you think that there are people that, one, actually complete the test, and, two, score a? The amount of credited responses necessary to a 120 is lower than the amount of credited responses one would bubble, on average, if one guessed randomly.hoos89 wrote:people do get 120sDocHawkeye wrote:Is it possible to do so poorly on the LSAT that NO law school would take you?john1990 wrote:biomedhawk wrote:"My friend did so well on the LSAT that she got into law school. 26 people who had scored a 120 retook the LSAT in 2010-2011.
5 of them scored 120 again...

Seriously, this is off season folks. Stop posting in here unless you have a story about something you overheard at the LSAT.

My guess is that a lot of the 120s are no-shows that don't cancelhoos89 wrote:your assumption that one cannot be dumber than chance is faulty. some people's logic just actively avoids the wrong answer; you are clearly overestimating the intelligence of the dumbest LSAT takers. if the test were perfectly curved, the same number of people would get 120s and 180s.LexLeon wrote:

This one needed to be repeated.Mauve Dinosaur wrote:2 guys who seem to know each other

This one is harder, but manageable but you WILL need all your time. Meanwhile your insides are churning and you know that you WON'T be able to hold it in until the end of the section. Do you shit your pants or give up your dream of becoming a lawyer."
Guy 2: I would totally shit my pants. Wouldn't even think about it. I'd smell like ass but walk out of there with my head held high like a boss.
Guy 1: Me too, I even came prepared. I'm wearing Depends *pulls down pants slightly*
Guy 2: FUCK wish I thought of that. You're a genius bro.

Never knew this thread existed.
After the LSAT was over while I was walking back to my car I heard a guy complaining about an RC section. He was telling his buddy he hoped that it was the experimental since he'd put all C's for the answers. Unfortunately, I had only one RC section, so I know it wasn't the experimental.

Not everyone has the same experimental section. He may very well have had two RC sections on his exam. HTHKikero wrote:Never knew this thread existed.

At least he knew there was an experimental. When I took the test, I overheard this girl explaining to another that the first section IS the experimental. "It's basically like, you know, to warm up. I mean, I didn't take it seriously because I don't need to warm up, I saved all my brainpower for the real parts."Kikero wrote:Never knew this thread existed.
