Re: The Official September 2014 Study Group
feeling unnecessarily optimistic for some reason. Just lying in bed after being at the lib for 14 hours, just makes step back and assess this test with perspective. We've devoted a huge part of our lives to it, but if we walk out of that room with a 140 our hearts still beating. But for some reason, I'm just feeling like we're all gonna hit our goals. If me of all people is optimistic in himself, you guys shud be cuz i suck ballz
but ya prolly dont try to go for 140 to test my cardiac theory cud be wrong

Re: The Official September 2014 Study Group
I just went -0 with 5 mins left while drilling a section of RC. This has never happened before.

Edit -
I don't know if it's just conincidental, but I got a subscription to The Economist the other day and have been reading articles non-stop. On the shitter, in transit, etc. No more cellphone fucking games, I'm reading their books + art section. And it feels like it's helped tremendously. I've never been much of a reader (because I'm a lazy shit) so my RC has suffered, but I feel like I'm in the zone when it comes to reading now.
I read slow as fuck though because I'm like "ok what's the main point of this article? Yeah? Why did the author quote this particular phrase? What would the author of this article agree with? What would he/she disagree with?"
FWIW it's helped me leaps and bounds, if only in terms of confidence when attacking these passages.
I'm also pretty fucking up-to-date on Chinese politics, thanks.
Edit #2 -
I felt like a million bucks so I decided to do a LR section from PT 65 which I had skipped for some drilling. Minus. Fucking. Zero. again. 6 mins left. Time to 180 this shit.

I need to get my ticket arranged before I can pw it.smccgrey wrote:Toby, I think you're supposed to glue/tape it (NO STAPLES) before you get there. It says that the photo must be attached or you will not be admitted to the test center.Toby Ziegler wrote:Dumb question alert. Are we supposed to attach our photo to our ticket after we get there and check in? And are we PW'ing our photos?
Also... yes. I PW'd my ticket yesterday and I will do it again if people start today.
Also, idk how I feel about a heavily clothed, neutral faced pw

Still feeling sick, with congestion coming on more each day. Hoping this shit doesn't really strike for another day and a half. Ready to go to bed at like 8pm tonight.

Thank you!smccgrey wrote:Stay hydrated and don't overdo the sudafed! If possible, make/get someone to make soup. And sleep! Lots of sleep.
What's TCR on decongestants the morning of the test? Would taking a regular dose hurt your mental acuity?

if you're super mucousy take some mucinex - minimal mental issues - start today so you have good momentum going in, starting tomorrow won't do muchBJS wrote:Ouch. So that's a no?smccgrey wrote:That's what I did last saturday and I felt stoned.BJS wrote:Thank you!
