I'm just mostly scared for how awful I'm going to feel when/if I fall outside my range of acceptable scores and have to take again... I don't want to have to explain to people why I'm taking it again.

If it makes you feel any better, this was my third attempt so if I score under my range I'm screwed while you still have the option of retaking. Take comfort in that. Especially if you're not applying this cycle.

Frankly, I think you should max out your retakes unless you've hit 175+.

Also, had MORE dreams last night. It was the same dream, twice. In the first one, I opened an actual, snail mail envelope to find out my score was the same as my last take. Woke up, miserable. Fell back asleep, and had the SAME dream (stupid paper envelope and all) but got a 178. Then I went to Harvard 0L summer camp. Because, in my dreams, that's a thing.

ETA: No, it was TOTALLY a 178, not a 175... silly me.

What score are you hoping for

For this first LSAT, I've set the bar at an achievable 160. But I'm preparing myself mentally for a much worse, while secretly deluding my reasonableness in hoping for much better.

I'm between Feuerbach's post...

I got a good chuckle in the shower today when I thought, for the first time, that maybe I scored well above my PT average and into the mid-170s. After all, I did only not answer two (or was it three?) questions!

...and beginning to contemplate starting to erase any useless notes on my LSAT books to get ready for the next couple of months.

I was having nightmares about it last night. I got a 153 and made the LSAC re-check my score and it tuned out to be a 152. GOT DAMN IT!

i hear a 119 is the super secret g13 classified score that gives you automatic admission to all T14. it takes a secret scantron bubble pattern to get but it is doable
