I prefer pastafarian. And may the FSM touch you with his noodly appendage for asking.
+1.
I knew there was a reason why our February group is so cool.

I am still a bit disappointed with the SAT folks. From what I understand a few years after I took the test they re-centered the scoring so that the median score was at (or at least closer to) 1000. So my not that impressive 12xx score (I think it was a 1230, but it has bee a quarter century so I would not bet a lot of money on my memory at this point) did not look as good. Then flash forward they added another section and and another 800 points to the top score, so it makes my score sound like I might have a habit of sitting in a room and drooling on myself.PattyCake wrote:

I'm just poking my nose in here a few times a day -- I know if we suddenly add 5 pages of posts it probably means scores.xylocarp wrote:I've been checking LSAC a few times a dayBankruptMe wrote:7 days to go. Could be any day now

I suspect that the answer is that you van apply on the deadline day.Baby_Got_Feuerbach wrote:/*\ /*\ Bee-boop Beep-Bop Stupid Question Alert /*\ /*\
If a school's deadline is March 1st does that mean by 11:59pm on the 1st or 11:59 on the last day of February? In other words -- can we still apply during the day ON deadline day?

And can't you submit with recs pending?james.bungles wrote:why are you waiting until the day of to submit? Are you still waiting on a rec or something?
Some schools do not allow for submissions without the required number of recs, but I just cleared this hurdle a few days ago.HanShotFirst wrote:And can't you submit with recs pending?james.bungles wrote:why are you waiting until the day of to submit? Are you still waiting on a rec or something?

LOL I know what you mean! On the handful of apps that asked for SAT scores I made sure to add "taken in 1998 on a scale of 1600" so they wouldn't think I was a moron.haus wrote:I am still a bit disappointed with the SAT folks. Your lsac page has a "next deadline" link on the home page that shows you the date and time you have to submit (lower right hand in the side panel). For instance, I have Yale on my school list (because I wanted to see what their app looked like, not because I'm applying) and they are listed as 2/28 at 11:59pm so I assume it ends at midnight the night BEFORE the deadline for most schools.haus wrote:I suspect that the answer is that you van apply on the deadline day.Baby_Got_Feuerbach wrote:/*\ /*\ Bee-boop Beep-Bop Stupid Question Alert /*\ /*\

It looks like I will be flirting with this myself. If I can get my app in one the 28th, I will, but I am not sure it will happen.
Pretty sure they will send the application without scores but not without recs. you can add ADDITIONAL recs if the school allows more, but you need the minimum to generate a report. Hope that helps.BankruptMe wrote:I dont think LSAC sends out the recs without the scores.
