oh man, I got slaughtered by PT 67 today. didn't score it, but I can just feel it

Got slaughtered by 72 this morning. It was so bad that about half way through the test I threw in the towel. Graded what I did finish hoping that my fears were unwarranted and yeah I did terribly. I just want this whole thing to be over with at this point!

I found LG to be pretty tough on 67, and took it as the third section and I feel like I got so annoyed and didn't have a clear head for 4th section LR

I know the feeling all too well. I need to find some motivation for this test in the coming weeks or Im going to have a big problem come test day.

Did PT 71 yesterday AM, ugh felt like a nightmare. LR seemed difficult, I spent way too much time on G3 and didn't finish G4 which was pretty easy and made a bubbling error in RC which I didn't catch till the 5 minute warning so I had to scrambled to fix it (and then ran out of time). Ended up with a 166 but God, that was a rough go. That was the first early morning test I've taken so far, so hopefully it was just me getting into the groove than anything else.

RC- -4 (I hate RC. Hopefully on test day I go -2)

They have way overused sunscreen and cancer. Sometimes it's to the point where I can basically guess what the flaw is just from knowing the topic... "Maybe the people who wear the sunscreen go in the sun more, and THAT'S why they have an equal cancer rate to those who don't wear suncreen??" WHO WOULDV'E KNOWN??

some tips that always help me:
1.right answer choices will typically sound strong, it depends on the kind of SA question it is though
2. always have the mindset of "if PREMISE then CONCLUSION", just connect the 2 things and also keep in mind that the right answer could be the contrapositive of the P --> C
3. some of the more tougher ones may not follow the P --> C thing, if it doesn't then you want to pick an AC that connects that kind of provides and additional premise that bridges the premise and conclusion

The reading comprehension is actually really difficult. This might be stupid, but anyone else have trouble with main point questions? I noticed that I often get stuck between two answer choices that sound really similar and more often than not, I choose the wrong one. What do you guys do when you run into situations like that? How do you evaluate the wrong answer?

I'm studying for a retake and unfortunately have already burned through PTs 45-81 studying for September. I'm consistently getting -0 in LG, -1 to -3 in RC, and -1 to -4 (total) in LR. I'm looking to improve LR so I can consistently go -1 per section.
At this point, is my time better spent drilling or taking full time PTs? I feel very stuck. I have a LR by type drill book for PTs 1-38, but I don't want to expose myself to these problems if I'm going to be taking full PTs, especially since i've already exhausted PTs 45-82. What should be my study plan?

If you consistently get a particular question type wrong, id suggest q-type drilling with your drill book. Otherwise I would just do sections and PTs with proper review.

Sounds like a BR to me. I'm at the same point but most of the questions I miss are hard flaw/weaken questions so I'm doing some extra focus on that. Have you checked to see if there's a trend in the question types?

Are you trending along the last 5ish tests? It might be something you can't see within the data from one test.

If it truly is random hard questions, I'm not sure I have any advice for that. I'd probably look at it, try to understand why I got it wrong and see if I could identify some sort of system to noticing I'm encountering another question that could give me the same issue in the future

Am I the only one who blocks certain schools from emailing them?? I got so tired of receiving multiple emails a day from some schools (Im sure you guys can guess the schools Im referring to) that I just had to.
