Plan for January-February:

Drill each logic game until I can finish it in under 7 minutes, with no flaws. Then move on to full length tests in March.

I do now but I want to change that. Kind of feels like wasted time.

Every game ever would be quite the task. Under 7 minutes for all would be an AMAZING achievement.

I have actually drilled over 400 copies of 1-38 games so far. Plan on breaking 1k by test day, but a quality 1k, not a mere a recollection of the inferences. I'm fairly good at games, but I just took a peek at the 3rd game of the December test and was completely lost. Got to it with just under 14 minutes remaining (after skipping and finishing the 4th game and then returning.) I have spent the last 2 days trying to diagnose exactly what is wrong with my approach. I think my approach isn't malleable enough, it's too ridged. When things don't fall within a recognizable framework, I'm get confused. The bad thing about this is it isn't something that more drilling can solve. Anyone else gone through this with games?

Let me amend that* I think this issue isn't something that can be drilled away.

Have you been using, or looked at, the 7sage videos for logic games? They've helped me make sure I am on the right track setting up games

What book are you using? I'm using powerscore's LG which sometimes can be annoying because 7sage does things a little differently

Hey guys!

I ended up getting a new laptop and got Microsoft Office installed (Yay!) so now I have to redo my LSAT schedule AGAIN hopefully this will be the last schedule makeover I make.

I was hoping that I would get to do all PT's from 39 onwards, but I'm thinking what I might do is use some of the earlier test for experimental sections that way I can get through the more recent tests at least twice.

That said, I still need to get through the 7Sage curriculum and have a solid grounding on LG and RC as well. For RC I'm planning on only using Manhattan and Trainer. This week, I didn't do much prep since I had all the drama with my laptop (so there went my LG and LR drilling), so I went through chapters 1-3 of Manhattan RC book. What I'm going to do this week now is try some of the drills with the RC passages from June 2007 that the book recommends in Chapter 3 (along with continuing the 7Sage curriculum!).

How is everyone else's prep going? Has the blizzard come down yet? I saw some pictures my friends instagrammed from MD and tweeted from NY, looks beautiful (the snow) but intense! Also, I looked over that report someone posted about the three runaway inmates from the SoCal prison hope everyone is staying safe.. And what is up with law enforcement these days? I recall something similar happening in upstate NY several months back except I think ppl within the prison helped them escape. Any word on the whereabouts of the inmates? I read that the FBI is getting involved too..

Oh and not that anyone cares, but I love, love, LOVE my new laptop!!! :D

the new version of the LG bible has like 10 chapters plus 7 appendices containing LG sections. You could probably get through it in less 2 weeks if you really wanted to, but idk if doing it that fast would be helpful.

maybe 4 weeks (really spread out though, I'm thinking an average of about an hour or less per day, with some days off) to do all the the readings, drills, and games would be good. Just a personal opinion though.

The blizzard made me lazy. It's so much nicer to sleep and eat all day for three (now going on four) days.

What Skype thing?
There were a few people in here who were interested in reviewing some tough problems together on skype. It seemed like a good idea, and it was supposed to happen yesterday. Just wanted to know how it went

Has anyone ever taken the LSAT in Europe?!
My family lives in Denmark so I plan on getting a nonpublished test center established around Copenhagen.
Are there any disadvantages to taking the test outside of the U.S.? Is it generally the same test? Harder/easier/the same level of difficulty?
I know the test is administered on the 7th instead of the 6th. Would I still get my score back on the same day as people in North America?

Ok cool, thanks for the timeline! I was worried I was going too slow because of school and all

You drilling by game type or by PT? Currently I'm drilling by game type while working through the powerscore LG book but am thinking maybe by PT might be better

I'm on my second time through the LG bible, and this time I'm also drilling full games by type after I finish the corresponding section of the book. I'm liking it better than just going through the book and leaving it at that.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
