I have a 2.7 GPA and I'm actually on my third take. I've gotten 166 both times! Slightly depressing. I'm applying to a range of schools from 7 - 35 but I'd be happy to get into George Washington, Boston U, Fordham, Emory, W&L, U Minn, or BC.

I'm doing PT 12 tomorrow. I''ve been pushing for doing old games, such as this one. If you're running short on time though, I'd recommend the games in the 30's.CU44BMD wrote:Damn, just did pt 12, finished the first three games in about 17 mins. Then got to "flasks" and just "zoned" out. Can't let that happen, again. One thing i'm focusing on this time around is really cutting down my time on those easier games to give me a nice bank for a much harder game(s).
You guys incorporating some vague/rare games of the earlier PT's to aid with flexibility and what not? Chances are slim of seeing anything to crazy, but then again were talking about the LSAC here:/
Either you reviewed the fuck out of it or you just have a ballin memory.Alorain wrote:How do you guys retake PTs!? I looked into redoing a PT from MAY (6 months ago!), and started the 1st LR section. I straight up remembered the answers to 90% of the section, so I gave up on the test, as it would be a completely inaccurate representation of my score.

I can't speak for everyone but I've personally done every PT 2-3 times (120+) and after a while, all questions start to look the same and you're just reading for logic. I definitely consider my results tainted, so I try to mention its a retake when I post my score. For me, there's not much else I can do but aim for 180 and really beat myself up for every miss I continue to make.Alorain wrote:How do you guys retake PTs!? Btw al,
I'm putting my money where my mouth is, I printed all 27 RC's I haven't done recently and I'm gonna drill just like one would do with LG, doing 3 every day I don't have a PT planned (In addition to my LG regimen). I might use them as my experimental to get thru them faster. Will it help? probably some, not a whole lot. All i know is I'm not gonna let ~13 hours of work hold me back from my destiny!

We'll destroy this test even if its the last thing we do!mrizza wrote:Dec12K is the end!99.9luft wrote:how is everyone?

you know, not really. LG is tough (how i like it). RC is a bit easier, yes. LR is worded differently (sometimes in a strange, counter-intuitive way). Either way, it's good practice even for some of us who did the cambridge bundles and remember some of the questions because they appear completely differently in the context of a full section.Wormfather wrote:Is it much different than 50s/60s?99.9luft wrote:how is everyone?
