What if you ended up getting a score you knew was in error (for example a 140 shows up for a 170 test taker) and you need to request hand scoring and verification? Wouldn't they need the test taker to see the score first, just in case?imisscollege wrote:i guess it is more important for schools to get them asap than it is for us to get them, at least in febfebruaryftw wrote:I don't think it is relevant until someone with no other LSATs has a file go complete.

schools emailing you probably has nothing to do with scores, because they get sent reports, which wont be available right away.

Ever heard of such a horror story? LSAC can't be that bad, can they? (rhetorical)

Ryan Mallett is the very talented quarterback for the University of Arkansas. From what I've heard, he thinks he's a pretty big deal on campus, which he really is.
One day, he walked into a class. He didn't know this, but they were having a test that day. Thus, arrived in class without a scantron.
Then he found out he needed a scantron. Then he stood up very tall and alpha-male like, raised his hands high in the air and looked at the rest of the class. Then he said, and I quote you "Who got a scantron for Ryan Mallett?" very loudly.
I want to take the LSAT again just to do this: Right before we actually start taking the test, I want to stand up and raise my hands in the air and say "Who got a no. 2 pencil for William Wallace?" in a loud voice and tone that is not merely asking, but more of a request that is fully expected to be carried out in a matter of time no less than 0.8 seconds.
cool story hansel
Except he left out the end. Did anyone sacrifice their scantron for this supposed BMOC?
Whoops! Yes, a kind-hearted female student sacrificed one of her extra scantrons for Mr. Mallett. To which he replied "I appreciate ya darlin' " followed by a wink. At least he referred to himself in first person this time.
More detailed description in link below, if intersted/want to feel better about yourself for not being like him.

Imagine the joy a 140 writer would experience getting a 170 instead.

It doesn't seem correct that schools would get the scores first. The school report is not sent to the schools until the LSAT is posted and the file is complete.

But given that she deserved a 140, would she ask for a hand scoring still?gltm wrote:Lmao14yearplan wrote:jks289 wrote:

Just got WL'd at one of my schools. If they were really sent our LSAT scores, this is a BAD sign. (Then again, I had been in review since 1/7 and didn't ask them to hold my app and a whole bunch of WL's went out today).
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
