Took PT 62 today. Allegedly this is a tough one, but overall I did well I think. Scored 168.

Breakdown: -7 RC, -6 LR#1, -2Games, -2 LR#2. Made some careless errors in the first LR, but i think that section was harder than LR#2.

Boom baybayyyyyy. itshappening.jpg

Same here, except I binged on GTA V

Anyways, how should I finish my prep for Dec?

Just keep taking PTs ( 2-3 per weeks with review) or should I finish Oct with drilling LR (assumption, weaken, strengthen, flaw q types) from the Cambridge packets with 1 PT on the weekends then switch to 2-3 PTs per week for the month of November?

Also I've been thinking of doing every LG section timed at least once before Dec...should be a fun challenge.

I'm taking two PTs this week. 54 on Thursday and 55 on Saturday, or Sunday(but that would technically start a new week... whatever)

PT 55 with 25 minute sections since I took it a while back (Anyone have ideas on making PT retakes harder besides shortening the time? Don't see what else there could be...)

RC-4
LR2-2
LG-0

Pt 53

-1 LR
-1 LG
-4 RC

175

Is it just me or is the RC on 53 unusually difficult (even for modern tests)? It seemed like there were at least 10 Qs that made me "WTF?!?!" It was a really frustrating section. I'll be reviewing today so maybe I'll realize it's not as bad as it seemed.

I'm happy with the score but I'm not hitting these high scores very consistently. Usually 171/2. Going forward, I may drill old RC sections, def need to drill more LG, and going to drill specific LR Qs that I miss often. Also need to review more thoroughly than I have been.

Edit: thought I missed 2 LR.. It was 1

Took it easy this weekend because I completed my LSAT to-do list for the week... just drilled some RC, finished LG grouping type drill and started combo drill set, attempted to reread Manhattan LR. I was so bored with it that I ordered the LSAT Trainer. I'm hoping it's not redundant, but at least it will seem "new".

PT 58 this week, LG and RC drilling, and hopefully starting LSAT trainer :). Once I finish the PowerScore gaming-by-type materials, I'm going to do all the ones I did not master again, rinse and repeat until I get them allll right. Then I think I'll start doing whole LG sections from the more recent PTs. Someone suggested this approach on the boards and it sounded good. I'm saving 55-70 for timed PTs, but stuff before then I haven't seen in about 2 years, so they should still be good to use for drilling. The one benefit to waiting years between retakes - the PTs are made new again (well, except for the markings I have to erase...)

Anyone starting to get nervous? I definitely am, off and on - part of the reason I chilled over the weekend. Anxiety was a real problem for me my first sitting -as I'm sure it is for most- but really want that to be a bit more under control this time around, so I'm trying to study less "intensely" i.e. obsessively.

Where are your PT scores? If they're high enough, you might need to just hunker down on the PTs with the occasional drilling if trouble spots arise.
My PTs have all been in the 160's range. I'm still not consistent in LR though, as it would range from -5 to -13. So maybe I should continue drilling for a while.

50% done with 7sage...such a great program. PT tomorrow haven't figured out which one yet...Friday also. I decided I'm leaving my job earlier than I expected to give myself a solid 2 weeks of uninterrupted study before the December exam. Need to get a 170+ on this exam because I know my softs will put me over the top.

SPA today:

LR −1
LR2 −3
LG −2 (THIS never happens)
RC - 1
LRX −4

94/101, 173

Sloppiness on LG cost me that coveted 175. Will be reviewing in-depth later today and tomorrow. Doing another one on Friday if anyone wants to join.
