My score is not released yet.
So I guess better luck in October.
It has nothing to do with geography and they don't release by score bands. Also, plenty have gotten <165.
I mentioned before that my last name starts with an A and I got my score as soon as we went grey. If anyone who still hasn't gotten their score yet can let us know if this holds any weight...

172. Pretty much right at my PT. Was hoping to do better, but I'm really happy with my score. Look forward to seeing everyone in the school threads. Good luck to everyone still waiting.
Very nice! I felt like I died hard on the RC section (especially the Kant passage), got lucky I think there.
Great job on the LG! I never quite grokked game 3, so missed a couple there.

Retaking in October. Score is significantly below my PT average. RC absolutely destroyed me. Looking forward to continuing with a lot of you in the Admissions Forums and/or October LSAT thread!!

Bump. Please anyone?
I enjoyed the Testmasters course I took, but to me that comes down to what you expect to get out of it. Did you really *get* everything they were teaching? If not, I'd look more into a private tutor if you want to pay more for help.
Otherwise, self study and drilling hard can be really helpful. What sections did you miss most of yours on?
-3 LG -12 RC -14 LR

Ok then scratch that theory. But it's definitely not by location or by score band either. Random number generator?? Lol

168 on my first try.
LR 1: -6
RC: -5
LR 2: -2
LG: -0
I have a 3.9 GPA from Stanford and a lot of good softs. Only was hitting just over that for PTs. Should I be content?

Thanks! LG is always my best section, which is nice because I know a lot of people have trouble with it, but kind of sucks because its worth the fewest points..

total theory but i am assuming it is based on how cleanly you have bubbled your sheet and written the writing sample. more time spent checking your response form and writing sample means it gets put into the machine and the scores are released in order of scantron processing

Really messed up LR and got -0 on LG, which is completely crazy since that's the opposite of anything that has ever happened on a PT. WHAT is going on??

See ya in October.
Ya I got 7 points less than any of my last 6 practice tests. 4 wrong on logic games. I literally got 2 logic games questions wrong my entire last month of studying on my PTs. and of course RC absolutely murdered me.
October it is.

After the first hour of gray madness I removed myself from a wifi area and went and got some breakfast. Figured I'd calm myself down, go get some food, and all the waiting would be over when I got back. Now I'm back, still no score, and still going crazy.

LG is where it hurts, everything else is my average, but my LG average is -0. But I'm okay with this score. Good luck to everyone else!!
Hey, you improved! That's big by itself knowing that you didn't study for months just to get the same score or lower. And solid score too.

167 I am in complete shock.
-0 LR
-4 LG (Usually my worst section usually go at least -6)
-4 RC
-6 LR
I am in complete devastation guys. Granted I was only PTing at 170 on average but the breakdown of my score is just brutal considering I never go more than -3 on LR and -4 on RC is pretty incredibly high too...

Advice?
Got a 169...was PTing at a 172 and if you took out 2 outliers (which I blame on a lost watch) was pt-ting at a 174. PTs were 178,177,175,174,173,171,167,and 168.
Should I retake? I wanted to retake for less than a 170 but the prospect of doing all this again for 1 point....
Also my GPA is real low. 3.1 real low.

Ahhhhh now it makes sense, thanks for this post. So LSAC releases scores in order of your taste in football teams.

I'd be curious to see if LG, more so than other sections, tends to go worse on test day vs. PTs for most test takers. Seems to be the case anecdotally, and certainly in my case. Also got -2 on LG after pretty consistent -0 on PTs.

Was not true for me - this LG went perfectly for me and that has never happened on a PT. I lost all my points in LR, which is usually my best section.
