I mean... not really into fruity beer too much but a good lambic might be your kind of thing. There are some good variations in cherry, raspberry and apricot I've been seeing lately. If you want rich and not bitter, what about something like Guinness?peppermint wrote:Since all you beer connoisseurs are here, I was wondering if y'all could recommend a good one for me. I don't like drinking beer all that much b/c I find it way too bitter. Is there anything that's not as bitter and has a rich molasses-type of flavor (I had one like this once but can't remember its name, ugh)
Also, what do you guys think of something like a fruit ale for a newbie like me (one of my roomies just bought something called Alaskan Raspberry Wheat Ale the other day)

Lindemans is the most accessible lambic (they have the variations Prodigal referred to), but if you see it and want to fork over the money, anything by Cantillon is amazing. But them be white whales here in the states, and expensive.peppermint wrote:I've had Guinness before, I think I liked it. Being in WA you have access to Cascade. They make some of the best lambics/sours/wild ales.EvergreenStateLady wrote:Yeah lambics are my favorite. I've only tried Lindeman's lambics before. I just went to Cascade's website and now I really want to try them. Thanks for the suggestion. ^_^The Abyss wrote:Being in WA you have access to Cascade. So I read the "Overheard at the LSAT" thread and it seems like there are a lot of stories about people showing up with no pencils or otherwise unprepared. I was kind of thinking about taking an extra box of pencils, a sharpener, and a couple packs of Kleenex and just ditching them at the front of the room in case anybody needs them. Am I just being an idiot?

Seems like there's usually at least one who shows up with just mechanicals.Shemp wrote:So I read the "Overheard at the LSAT" thread and it seems like there are a lot of stories about people showing up with no pencils or otherwise unprepared. Kleenex, on the other hand, brilliant idea. Offer a travel pack to anyone in your room that needs it?

I specifically did a good number of my PTs with my family in the other room, talking and arguing, with the TV on. I knew if I could do that then whatever distractions came would be fine.Dirigo wrote:Just pray that your proctors don't chat/whisper to each other throughout the test.
