Is there anything that's not as bitter and has a rich molasses-type of flavor (I had one like this once but can't remember its name, ugh)

Also, what do you guys think of something like a fruit ale for a newbie like me (one of my roomies just bought something called Alaskan Raspberry Wheat Ale the other day)
I mean... not really into fruity beer too much but a good lambic might be your kind of thing. There are some good variations in cherry, raspberry and apricot I've been seeing lately. If you want rich and not bitter, what about something like Guinness?

I've had Guinness before, I think I liked it. Hmm, I might have to try it again this weekend since it's been a long time

ETA- Just read about the fruit lambics, I think these will be perfect for me. Thanks!
Lindemans is the most accessible lambic (they have the variations Prodigal referred to), but if you see it and want to fork over the money, anything by Cantillon is amazing. But them be white whales here in the states, and expensive.

The black currant one sounds interesting. When I was in England last year, I had something called a Cider and black which is basically cider mixed with black currant & it was quite tasty. I'm def gonna look into the lambics & will let y'all know what I think :)
Cider is delicious if you aren't a fan of beer

Being in WA you have access to Cascade. They make some of the best lambics/sours/wild ales.

I've only tried Lindeman's lambics before. I just went to Cascade's website and now I really want to try them. Thanks for the suggestion. ^_^

So I read the "Overheard at the LSAT" thread and it seems like there are a lot of stories about people showing up with no pencils or otherwise unprepared. I was kind of thinking about taking an extra box of pencils, a sharpener, and a couple packs of Kleenex and just ditching them at the front of the room in case anybody needs them. Am I just being an idiot?

Seems like there's usually at least one who shows up with just mechanicals.

Kleenex, on the other hand, brilliant idea. Offer a travel pack to anyone in your room that needs it?

I specifically did a good number of my PTs with my family in the other room, talking and arguing, with the TV on. I knew if I could do that then whatever distractions came would be fine.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
