Ha this kept happening to me while studying for my LSAT. I'd take a PT on a beautiful hot sunny Saturday and then have Sunday off and it's super rainy and shitty.
Siiiiigh
I'm going to gay pride this weekend! Rain or shine, should be good fun.
Cool where at?

I've never been a fan of Irish whisky (besides with Irish Car Bombs of course).
Scotch is pretty fucking great. I usually go with a Glenlivet. But I save that bottle for a nice calm night when I am alone or just watching a movie with the lady friend.
Bourbon on the other hand, is just the nectar of the gods. It has that great mild sweetness that lets you drink it all night. The variety of labels is also great. I drink that during any occasion that I want to head for a nice strong buzz or just say screw it and let loose in Wrigleyville (DT Chicago).

This really isn't a debate. Bourbon competes well with scotch in the $40-$100 range, but after that it gets left in the dust. Scotch has the better variety of aging processes to give it more complex flavors, and it has distilleries with more experience in getting the most out of those processes.
But really, good whisky is good whisky and we should not discriminate based on where it was made. On the note of good irish whiskeys, I tried Jameson 12 a few weeks back for the first time and it wasn't bad; probably on par better than a Glenlivet 12, though also a bit sweet for my tastes. Still need to get my hands on a Jameson 18 so that I can get a fair comparison to the stuff I regularly drink.

Because when it's less than 85 and sunny, it's freezing on the beach.

I honestly can't say I've had enough $100+ range bourbon or scotch to make a fair comparison. Agree with the bolded though--I like it all

just that if I have a nightcap after a long day, I like my liquor like I like my women--American, aged, and brown

The Peaky fucking Blinders. Great show that makes you want to live in that era with a herring bone suit and a revolver. Season 3 was kind of a let down though. Should've let Arthur maintain his ass kicking streak. Sorry if I spoiled.

We have a bunch of Peaky fans ITT!
And by that I mean, I think there's like 4 of us. Tight.
I've only watched the first ep or two of season 3.
Without spoiling anything, I'll say that I was very annoyed by the purple dress and make-up look of a certain person in ep 1 of season 3. Almost switched it off because I was so disappointed. She's prettier than that!
Lolz, these are the things that my lady self are concerned about in Peaky.

Bourbon on ice with a lime, but only when it's winter or I'm sad.
