I know I'm late on this, but when theaters threw me for a loop as far as not being sure how to set it up, I looked at how all the elements were laid out in the first question and copied it. Usually works when I am unsure about the best approach.

This is what I did with the snacks game in PT69. Sometimes it can backfire on you, though.

For sure. It's definitely not a method I'd rely on regularly, but it's a decent backup plan when the ish hits the fan.

As it stands, I'm basically looking at Penn with little money, UVA and Duke with decent-ish money and Cornell with better than decent-ish money (80-100k) according to myLSN. If all those dropped like 10K or whatever...so be it, I suppose.

Of course, we all shall improve our scores and this becomes moot.

Are u applying with current score or are you holding application all together. Unfortunately my LSAt was such a bomb that I wouldnt be applying to law school at all with my current score , but seems ur in a better spot

I'd probably apply to Cornell and BU/BC with my current score if I could. The issue is that, from what I've read on this board, the schools can see you're retaking by looking at your LSAC profile, so they just keep your app on hold until the new score comes in. (this is assuming you submit it before the test)

Does this imply I should apply to schools I know I could get into with current scores? Apply everywhere now? Or hold?

I'm fairly sure it implies the schools will automatically hold apps and not review them until the retake score is in. So there isn't much difference between applying before scores and after scores. But there could be exceptions here. Maybe there are some schools who will review your current score but will reconsider your application later for greater scholarships given your greater score.

Yeah, this is what I was told from a UVA rep. They even encouraged me to apply before I received my LSAT score. Looks like there is an advantage to still sending apps earlier for some schools, even though you're due to retake.

i went -0 on the Oct LSAT and I bombed 2/3 of the superprep LG sections... if you do attempt them and fail, i hope my words give you some comfort. cheers

Thanks abdistotle! I missed 1 on this section and used 30 mins. I was consistently -0 on LG during my PTs, and probably one -1 due to careless errors on every 5 PTs or so. But for the real thing I went -2, stupid mistakes again.

Now I want to make sure that I finish the LG section in 25 mins when PTing, since I realized that my speed was significantly decreased at the real thing.

Is anyone using the 7Sage proctor app for iphone? Highly recommend it. It's quite useful, especially after the recent updates. It's very handy that now you can adjust the speed to 30 minutes per section.

Also, you can watch all LG videos in the app.

You guys, I'm struggling with NA questions did 20 of the level 4 ones in cambridge packet and went -11 WTF! Anyways, do you guys have any tips on how to tackle NA questions or should I just go back and review the appropriate MLSAT/LSAT Trainer chapters?

I've use the negation trick for the easier ones, but these harder ones are giving me a tougher time.

You may be confusing necessary and sufficient. Sufficient Ass. is enough to prove the conclusion, so they are tempting answer choices. NA are not enough to prove the conclusion, but they must be true if the conclusion is also true.

Harvard rep said that they'll review apps and hold the decision until the December score comes in. Guess retaking the LSAT is no excuse to hold off on working on apps.

did 2 sections of LR this morning at work. i usually finish in like 22-23 minutes per section but i forced myself to slow down a lot and ended up going -3, -1. Feeling a little better. Going to spend tomorrow drilling the types of questions I just missed and rereading those trainer sections

hey guys,

if a lot of people are interested in reviewing in a chatroom, we may have to break into 2 groups. ime this sort of thing is more effective with small groups rather than a single large group of 10+ people.
