I agree with Steel, they are REALLY comfy.
I've been raving about triangular pencils since the beginning of this post.

How do you sharpen them?

I had thinner wooden ones that work with any sharpener, but the TRIconderogas I use the one that comes with the pack of pencils. It's not consistent, but you can get a good point out of it. Just bring enough sharp points to test day and you'll be in good shape.

I'd like to join this party. I, like many followers of TLS, recognize the irrefutable causal relationship between pencil quality and LSAT score.

Box of Palomino HBs in the mail. Box of Ticon Blacks in the bank. 180 Watch on the wish list. LSAT on the mind.

From the Overheard at the LSAT thread:
McGruff wrote:
John Winger wrote:Guy next to me used the mini pencils that you get a golf course. He also erased half of his writing sample and started over.
this got lost in all the state school debacle but how did he erase if he was using golf minipencils? :?: they don't have erasers...
The guy John Winger is talking about could have used some of the information in this thread.

What a TTT.

I will say, when taking the test last Saturday I noticed a strong correlation between the post-test demeanor of those people using TTT pencils and those rocking TLS-Approved varieties. Small sample size, but I think it supports the overarching hypothesis of this thread.

At my test center I saw a guy with two golf pencils and no eraser. Guess I know who gets those 150's

That's ridiculous. No one is going to or even allowed to bring something that preposterous to a testing center.

other than post count, what type of evidence would suffice? i suppose i could set up a live videostream of my next PT and stop after the 3rd section, at which point you guys could grade it and let me know how much over 155 I end up with. hell, you guys can even choose which PT. the only stipulation i have is that the communications major does the 4th section.

LOL I wasn't actually targeting you with my snark. I was merely treating it as a "caption this image" post. I didn't even know that you were the one actually overcompensating.

I used and loved the HB Palominos for my LR, RC and bubbling in answers.

I used and loved the Ticonderoga's EnviroStik for LG. I just loved its eraser and how it writes lightly for my hypos in games.

Does anyone know the type of pencil blueprint uses in the ones they give students.

It's excellent for games: stays sharp longer, easy to sharpen and write w/o breaking.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
