Re: June 2016 - Waiter's Thread (+170 or bust)
god the administration of this thing sucked. other proctors kept coming in and out of the room. one time it was for a legit reason--some dude had misbubbled an entire section (i.e., bubbled 4 in section 5 or something), and they came to get him out. feel bad for that dude. the rest of the times it was to talk to our proctor, and it was super distracting.
you'd think paying $170 or whatever it was, they'd figure their shit out.

fwiw i think i still did pretty well, but its always hard to say. mistakes can happen, and without those final two minutes, I didnt get to check if I made any.

I actually brought TWO watches and thought I was going crazy the first time and switched the watch. Still happened. But nobody else around me was reacting and nobody said anything during break so I thought I was nuts

But only if you think it really screwed you. An investigation will hold up scores being released and if something is founded then you either get a free retake (without learning your score) or else you just suck it up and take the score you got today.proteinshake wrote:you guys should collectively complain to LSAC. trying finding others through TLS, Reddit, etc.

oh noes :/ that sucks, I deff would have said something.... if my watch was off by 10 sec or so I could ignore it was human error but 2 minutes, no wai. Like somethingelse said, you can complain but absolute best case would be you could option to cancel score and get a free retake, or they could simply make a note of the report. that would destroy me on RC and wouldnt make LR all that fun

The problem is, when he said "5 minutes left" and there were clearly 7, if you raise your hand you're risking fucking up the test for everyone or at least for yourself so I didn't think it was worth it

Lsac shouldnt let these incompetents run the test who can't even count the time. any reason it was sharp 33 min and not sth else?pretzeltime wrote:SImply put he called it around the 33 mark 4 times.appind wrote:R. well its not uncommon for someone to ask atleast 1 question throughout the test so raising your hand wouldnt cause too much of a commotion if you just quickly mention something and point out ur watch. I mean a few seconds of commotion at the end would totally be worth adding 2 minutes on but shoulda woulda couldapretzeltime wrote:Yeah I mean...I should have said something the second time it happened.Smallville wrote:oh noes :/ that sucks, I deff would have said something.... if my watch was off by 10 sec or so I could ignore it was human error but 2 minutes, no wai. My proctors were extremely annoying. Kept hovering over our shoulders and whispering during the test. That 2 minutes thing is messed up though. Definitely report.

Yeah again it's this weird thing where I was thinking "no one else is saying anything so I must be wrong" but then everyone else was thinking that tooSmallville wrote:well its not uncommon for someone to ask atleast 1 question throughout the test so raising your hand wouldnt cause too much of a commotion if you just quickly mention something and point out ur watch.
