Thanks, and definitely do it! I'm going to think more about this, but it might actually be THE best $40 I have ever spent.CookieDough wrote:Aaaaand I'm buying this. I'd happily pay twice that for something that helps at this point. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! Re: December 2013 Retakers
Just want to add that given how extremely happy I was with the quality of his chapters on LR and RC, I feel comfortable saying that I'm sure the LG chapters are just as good. The book was so helpful that as I worked through the first chapter on September 24th, I actually cried because I was so blown away by how amazing his approach is. I almost didn't take the October administration because I felt like I had put myself at such a disadvantage by not using it sooner.bee wrote: hope i get to that point with my lg. thanks for the response.

Re: December 2013 Retakers
Checking in- butchered my LR on Oct 2013. Mainly my studying is going to be all about that for this time around- went -1 and -6 on LG and RC so it's really LR that I need to do better on. Any tips or ideas on how to DRASTICALLY improve? I have no idea what happened to me this last time around...

Yeah, it's pretty much what I looked like for 15 minutes after getting my score minus the cig. Re: December 2013 Retakers
I've never posted on TLS but reading this forum definitely got me through the October LSAT wait.
My nerves got the better of me on the October Test. I scored a point LOWER than my cold diagnostic exam....my DIAGNOSTIC exam
... when I was averaging between a 163-166 the last two months of my studying. When I got the October test in front of me it just set in that it was the REAL thing and my nerves took over. I'm pretty sure I had an outer body experience during the first section.
But nothing can prepare you for test day nerves other than test day itself so I'm determined to use my experience in October and rock the December test.
About that LSAT trainer book though..I had private tutoring with PowerScore so by now I feel really comfortable with their methods. Has anyone used this book after studying with a particular company's method and felt that it supplemented what they already learned? I'm just nervous about starting with a completely different method but I'm open to anything that would enhance or build upon what I'm already comfortable with.

It's personal why I got rid of it.
I was serious about October and I jumped 10+ pts over my June '12 shitshow of a take, but, I still have more left in the tank for a 170+. I know I can do it.
Here's the 4 week plan I'll be following-It's a lot to take in honestly but I can do it at work and home because I'm taking my last 3 credit hours this semester so school is on the lighter side.

edit: sorry if i came off sounding like an asshole, but, the few days leading up to today have been particularly bad. The score helped a bit, but, overall it's still pretty shit here in Tofu's world right now.

Checking in here. Thinking I will go through the Trainer and take some PTs, but I don't know if I have it in me to study like I did the last time.

Re: December 2013 Retakers
This is my biggest fear about retaking. I don't know if I just have the time to study. I did test lower than my pt average, but not by much (-4, -8 from my best, which was a week before the test). Is there enough time? I can probably work on this about 21 hours a week.I don't know if I have it in me to study like I did the last time.

It just kills me I got more than -5 from my PT average. And I had three 180s in the week leading up to the test. Guess I need to just get back on the horse

Yes sir. You're right.dosto5 wrote:I'm also -5 from PT average. Sucks but there's absolutely nothing you can do about it now.
