Re: February 2011 Waiting Thread
exactly. I've decided to walk into the mountains tomorrow until my brain actually melts from exhaustion. I might actually not take any water in order to purposefully dehydrate myself and thus facilitate it. Whether the relief associated with said brain melting will be worth the possible future inability to talk much less complete law school is something I'm trying not think about too criticallyPleasye wrote: I feel like I'm procrastinating and need to be studying.

Re: February 2011 Waiting Thread
I've got a pretty big move to DC/quitting my current job and starting a new one there so I've been sufficiently distracted, but it's still looming in the back of my mind. Especially because this was my 4th time taking it and I have gotten a higher score each time, so I keep wondering if this will be the time that I get a lower one. But then I remember that my last test was 7 points below my PT average leading up to it. And I only need two points to get off WL and break into the T14 (albeit PT). I will also be starting a new job the week before scores come out, so that should help distract me as well. I hope we get to a soulless section of this thread.. that would be fun

Moving out of the country in 5 days, so my week should be fairly hectic enough to distract me from thinking about that disaster on Saturday.
Prediction: 169 -> June retake

I would love to have your disaster... but not your moving. Good luck with everything, you might die of stress overload with a bad score...otnemem wrote:Moving out of the country in 5 days, so my week should be fairly hectic enough to distract me from thinking about that disaster on Saturday.

Re: February 2011 Waiting Thread
Thanks. As much as I would not be happy with a 169, it could be a lot worse (and it may be). It looks like my SO and I's visa documents won't be in order in time for our flight, so we'll have to spend a week or so training in our new country, then do a visa run to a nearby country, then fly back and start work on Monday, all while living out of our bags and trying to find an apartment.I would love to have your disaster... but not your moving. Good luck with everything, you might die of stress overload with a bad score...

Did you hear the news? The brownouts caused by the snowstorm severely damaged scantron reading machines of LSAC and replacing them is expected to take at least 2 weeks. Good luck all Feb takers, nonetheless.

I heard that LSAC gives you a refund and a $50 gift certificate at Best Buy when this happens.Nulli Secundus wrote:Did you hear the news? What's the average increase in a score from the 1st to 2nd take? Anybody actually go down?
Didn't do so well in December...mis-bubbled a section and got the last 9 of 11 wrong. Hoping for a big improvement.

My score went up significantly in December after taking it in October, even after getting seriously screwed over in every section of PT 62.kmichlew wrote:What's the average increase in a score from the 1st to 2nd take? Anybody actually go down?

You get more and more of these kinds of posts as we get closer to the score release date 1/2 are trying to be funny and 1/2 get some kind of personal entertainment out of it, though I can't imagine why.....Nulli Secundus wrote:Did you hear the news? at night it's easier, but at daytime when you're in front of your computer at work for 10 hours, the waiting is AGONIZING

1) you're not funny
2) you'd pretty much die if someone said something retarded like this to you about Harvard so maybe you should think before you post.

At least this wait will be a little shorter than the December wait...and with December, it was way more difficult to predict.
Basically, every aspect of the December LSAT sucked.

The thing that truly drives people insane is when the first few people get there scores and then everybody else is still waiting.CaliforniaGurl wrote:i think it'll kill my friday more if i don't receive it all day and have to wait until saturday. those effers!

i think they dont start releasing them until in the afternoon and go until later.
