I think the perfect killer combo is the dual duel major of karate + gymnastics.

The website should tell you. In most cases, you have to apply to each school separately. If you're going for a JD/MA then that means you need to take the GRE (in most cases.)
What programs/schools are you thinking about at this point?

I was not sure, possibly JD/MBA or JD/LLM. I have seen different things at different schools. Some require GRE or GMAT, and some do not. Northwestern actually requires only a GMAT to get into the JD/MBA program, unless I am wrong and misread it, or it was going through the Business school.
I was just curious if that changes admission to law school which is my main objective.

The JD/MBA at NU is done through the business school. If you want them to fallback to just the law school if you don't get into Kellogg, then you need to take the LSAT.

No, it doesn't affect your law school admission. I think they just like to get an idea. There's no need to apply with that intention. You can always apply to the second program during your 1L so I would just concentrate on getting in to law school now. If there's a particular program you're interested in at a particular school, then obviously trying to get into that law school would be nice.charlesjd wrote:I was not sure, possibly JD/MBA or JD/LLM. But honestly, don't sweat it now. From what I've heard (from law school admissions offices) there are a ton of seminars and info sessions about the law school's dual degree programs during your 1L so you can apply then. I would just focus on one app at a time.
And yeah, for b-school you'll of course need the GMAT.

Is it really "duel" major? Is that a special kind of major? I thought it was "dual major"

Good news about the duel major is that most of the classes just consist of watching this:

It's one of my favorite movies. Late, but unable to resist.
I say go for it, OP. My school has a JD/MSW program that just looks insanely cool.
