What happens once you've sent your seat deposit? I assume I'll start to hear about enrollment over summer months but have no idea what to expect.
1. Do schools typically send anything in the next few months to further introduce you to the program?
2. Do any schools have mandatory online onboarding?
3. Should I expect to attend an orientation?
4. How soon do you register for classes, know your book list, etc?
5. What am I not thinking of?

Re: What happens in months between sending seat deposit and first day?
Interesting question.
1. It depends on the school. You'll hear from the periodically about financial aid, paying your bill, registering, housing, medical stuff, etc.
2. This would depend on the school, but I've never seen any.
3. Yes, absolutely. The first few days of the year are mandatory orientations.
4. Again, this varies, in my experience this stuff was available about a month before schools started.

If you're relocating, it's a good time to start researching apartments and packing what you need for school. You don't want to be scrambling to find a place to live come August.

You probably won't register for classes for your first semester, you'll get a schedule and that's it. First semester classes almost anywhere are largely all already decided for you. For many schools, that's true for the whole first year.
