Rewrite PS/New Recs to Reapply? Forum

I'm reapplying next year. I was accepted to the schools I wanted, but I didn't get much in terms of scholarships b/c of my LSAT. I slaved over my PS for about 4 months and I feel really confident in it, but I don't want it to make me look lazy if I submit the same one. I get rewriting/getting new recs if you were rejected by schools, but do you need to do that if it's a scholarship issue?

Wouldn't hurt to just ask the admissions offices of the schools you're reapplying to. I reapplied to a school this cycle and they said that I could definitely use the same recommendations but that I should probably consider a PS rewrite. Granted, I was WL'd at this school first time around, so a new PS made sense. If you were accepted they might just tell you that resubmitting the same PS is fine.
