Seat Deposit Q
I'm asking this because it's just something I haven't come across. What actually happens if you don't send your initial seat deposit? This is mostly out of curiosity, I plan on sending one by April 1st, but I'm curious if schools will actually refuse admittance to you if you were offered admission and don't send your initial seat deposit. I have my own guesses as to how it works at different schools, but I don't know so I figure I'll just wait for someone in the know to respond.

Re: Seat Deposit Q
They would just give your seat away... happens every cycle with people who don't withdraw, but go elsewhere. I imagine its rare for one to come back later and say they want to go to the school still. My hunch is if you have the numbers to be helpful they would try to find a way, but they'd be totally justified in telling you no way.

sounds about right. My assumption is that you could get away with it at most law schools, but not the good ones.Clearly wrote:They would just give your seat away... happens every cycle with people who don't withdraw, but go elsewhere.
