course withdrawals

Post by v_san » Mon Oct 19, 2015 4:46 pm

well hello everyone, I'm in an difficult situation here

I really did bad on two of my midterms ( prolly failed both) and I'm thinking of withdrawing for both courses to save my GPA.If I decide to drop them, how will this affect my application to law school? What are your thoughts? Has anyone been in the same situation?

Thank you!

If you legitimately think you failed, drop them. Beware of the consequences if your school has a WF grade for withdrawing when you were failing the class. A few W's on the law school app aren't gonna kill you if your overall GPA is still fine.

I had 9 W's, and as far as i know, it didn't affect my chances anywhere. My cycle turned out to be what was expected for my GPA.
