Adding on a JD as a Joint-Degree (at UChicago)?

Post by jonathanabboud » Sun Oct 26, 2014 10:40 pm

Hi all,

I am wondering about how transferring works if you go to a University already for a different degree? I am accepted to the Harris School of Public Policy for an MPP and would like to transfer into the Law School for a joint degree after my first year.

Is it less competitive? More competitive?

Thank you!

I don't have any stats or anecdotes for you on this, but I would be shocked if it made a difference one way or the other.

Have you taken the LSAT? Enrollment at Harris does not allow you to transfer into the Law School without taking the LSAT.
