"Your LSAC file will be placed on hold pending final approval of your fee waiver. A hold will not prevent you from taking the LSAT; however, you will not receive your LSAT score, and law school reports will not be sent until review of your tax forms confirms the data you supplied on your fee waiver application. Upon final approval of your fee waiver, the hold will be removed from your LSAC file. If, however, a review of your documentation determines that you are ineligible for a fee waiver, the hold will remain and you will be billed for the service(s) for which you registered. Took 'm a day from the receipt of my docs (which was over the summer), but how long it takes 'till they get your docs is up to you of course

I mean how roughly long does it take from the time you have everything submitted to the final decision?

Like I said, a day. I guess they just look at whether the copy of your tax forms reports the same income for last year as what you filled out, and check the box.

I submitted mine last week and got a response last week. This seems to be one thing that the LSAC is quick with getting completed.
