Calling an admissions office

Post by salim123 » Thu Aug 07, 2014 1:05 pm

I am currently on the waitlist at my top choice school. How often is it acceptable to call the office voicing my interest, especially since there is not much time remaining before classes start?

Don't call. Send an email expressing your continued interest.

The only time it's appropriate to call would be if they specifically ASK you to call to voice your interest.

Otherwise, make a nice 1 page letter, address it properly (business style), sign it (with a real signature), make it into a .pdf, and send it as an attachment by email or by any online submission form they have.

Anything else is unprofessional.
