WHERE TO BUY BOOKS FROM?

Post by Newb2law » Tue Aug 05, 2014 2:03 am

Where are good places/sites to buy or possibly rent new/slightly used law school books from? I'm clueless...

I've always liked the vendor comparison site directtextbook.com/

It shows new/used/rental prices including shipping and coupons for a bunch of vendors.

Just plug ISBNs and play around with it. Not always 100% accurate so some digging required. Good luck!

Using your law student email I think you can get amazon prime free for a bit. I did that and got my books from there.

Little bit more expensive, but far and away the easiest is just to rent from your school's bookstore. I tried finding the ABSOLUTE BEST PRICE 1L year and it was just too much effort. And the mailing back time/effort/cost subtracted from the money saved.
