Undergraduate degree, conferred after law classes start?
I am currently finishing up the last 7 credits of my double major in undergrad and my degree will be conferred by September 3rd. Law school orientation is August 18/19 and classes start on the 20th. So my question is: how do I handle this with LSAC and the law school? Should I email the school and inform them that I won't have my conferred transcript by then? My summer classes end on August 12th with my final exam on August 14th, my undergrad has a policy that final grades must be posted 72 hours after the final exam. Realistically I should have my final GPA and unofficial transcript by the time orientation starts. Would an unofficial transcript suffice until I receive my conferred?

Perhaps this should give you pause that your plan of attending a shitty law school before you can legally drink might not be the best idea.

Just turned 21 last week actually. Also, I have a nice scholarship at the law school I will be attending.
Thanks for being oh so helpful.

I have connections to a guaranteed job after school.
This has nothing to do with my question.

Well then, #YOLO. I actually have somewhat relevant experience here because I graduated in late July and classes started in August for me. My school didn't require a complete UG transcript until 10 school days into the semester. Look into when your school requires it.

Well they are getting almost no money from me sooooo....
Plus I had a full ride for undergrad so going in with a good position financially.
My family has worked high up in the company for three generations... So fingers crossed?

My dad, who has worked there 40 years, is a hiring boss.
But again this has nothing to do with my initial question or the topic at hand.

I think you'd be better off just asking the school. Did you not disclose this when you applied or something?

I put in my application that I would finish my degree in August 2014. I should have my unofficial transcript by orientation.
