Question about riding waitlist for international students??

Post by paperrev » Mon Apr 28, 2014 7:26 am

Hey guys. So I got into NYU and am pretty excited to go. I did however, decide to keep a spot on waitlist at Harvard because, well, it's Harvard. Anyway, I have a question about riding the waitlist. How does it work with getting I-20s issued?? I know that some other people get admitted at other school's orientations and just up and leave (although, I doubt I'd do that), but is that hypothetically even possible for international students?? Are international students even allowed to put seat deposits down and ride wait lists?? Thanks.

Have you gotten an I-20 from NYU? Have you applied for an F1 visa? Contact Harvard.

Take a look at 2.4.
