Appropriate to send a LOCI after being deferred? Forum

Hi all,
As the title suggests I would like to know what the general consensus (if there is one) is regarding sending an LOCI after being deferred from an ED. I thought it seemed like a good idea, but after reading a bit about it (http://www.annaivey.com/iveyfiles/2012/ ... _waitlists) it seems like maybe it isn't appropriate until after April? Thanks in advance for any information!
