Is Housing Provided Year Round?
For law schools that do provide residency, is this year-round or are students required to move out at the end of each semester?

I'm very interested in knowing the answer to this question, especially for Cornell, if anyone knows the answer...Mansa wrote:For law schools that do provide residency, is this year-round or are students required to move out at the end of each semester?
Please let me know if you ever find out!

Cornell's housing is assigned on a yearly-basis.krnpridejk wrote:I'm very interested in knowing the answer to this question, especially for Cornell, if anyone knows the answer...Mansa wrote:For law schools that do provide residency, is this year-round or are students required to move out at the end of each semester?

It's pretty chill at CLS. You can move in as early as May (or earlier??) before 1L starts and stay on a year-to-year lease.

For Cornell, it's only for 1L year, only for the academic year (9 months), and you do also have to move out for winter break. One of my roommates is from Korea, and I think he just went back there for winter break.krnpridejk wrote:I'm very interested in knowing the answer to this question, especially for Cornell, if anyone knows the answer...Mansa wrote:For law schools that do provide residency, is this year-round or are students required to move out at the end of each semester?

Also, if you have any other Cornell questions, feel free to PM me, or post either in the class of 2017 thread or the taking questions thread.
