Re: Question about ties..
As a 1L, I have limited experience, but I did interview in a number of markets.
DC and Delaware (to a lesser extent) both seem receptive to outsiders. You can't really count on working in either of these markets though. DC is notoriously grade-selective and Delaware has few SA spots. You'll likely end up in NYC or Michigan.
I don't think going to CLS will help you crack non-NYC markets. If anything, you'll have to overcome an even stronger presumption that you want to work in NYC.

Re: Question about ties..
I seriously read this thinking you were talking about neck ties. I couldn't figure out why ties from Michigan would be worse than ties from New York. Maybe a fashion elitism thing?

true. also context. double windsor is more credited for interviews, etc. four-in-hand and half-windsor more credited for social occasions.JustHawkin wrote:This really hinges on size and material.iamgeorgebush wrote:dunno i think four-in-hand and half-windsor are also credited

Re: Question about ties..
It's much better that this thread was steered into the directions of neckties.
