Does one's geographic mobility just go with the USNWR ( Yale having the most, then Harvard, etc.), or is it more nuanced, such as NYU and Columbia having more geographic mobility and schools like UVA and UPenn being more rooted to their surroundings?
Thanks!

It is individualized by school and student.SweetTort wrote:Does one's geographic mobility just go with the USNWR ( Yale having the most, then Harvard, etc.), or is it more nuanced, such as NYU and Columbia having more geographic mobility and schools like UVA and UPenn being more rooted to their surroundings?

Re: Geographic Mobility in the T14
Really depends on a host of factors. YHS are going to be nationally-mobile. After that things are going to depend on your ties, the school's location and any particularly strong alumni communities that school has (for instance, UVA seems to kill it in Boston for whatever reason).
