Full Scholarsip: When do seat deposit funds become available
I paid a $400 tuition seat deposit and want to know when my student account will be credited. Could the funds become available before loans are disbursed after orientation and a couple days of classes? I am running a tight budget and $400 during orientation week would help.

If you got a full tuition scholarship, why did your school make you pay the seat deposit? I just had to sign a form saying I was coming. Basically the seat deposit form, but without paying money.

Highly doubtful that you could get that back before your loans are disbursed.
Check the schools website though, your loan disbursement date may be a week or so before classes start (although, it takes a day or two to process)

Our disbursement day is in the first week of classes after a week of orientation. Answers conflicted, but the admissions dean stated that I could get the funds during orientation.kay2016 wrote:Highly doubtful that you could get that back before your loans are disbursed.

Well the school will know better than us, but usually that kind of stuff is out of admissions hands, so I'd have a backup plan just in case.
Good luck
